When I got this sample of PURKISKIN Lip Treat, I really wanted to love it.

It ticks all the right boxes – it’s vegan-friendly, paraben free, has an SPF factor and is moisturising and smoothing.

The only problem is, it’s really hard and does not apply well at all. Hardly any colour comes off and I looked just a bit like I was wearing red lipstick 4 hours ago but have eaten a 4-course meal.

Not a great look. Most of the time, I urge people to try products I don’t like because maybe they’re just not suited for me, but I would recommend anyone avoid this lipstick. You can even see in the images below that it doesn’t look very promising!

  1. I find that this happens all the time, everyone is different which means products might work for one person and not the next!

  2. This definitely happens to me as well. A product can sound all kinds of promising but then just fails to deliver.

  3. Such a shame there have been a few products that people have raved about and I just haven’t got on with them. The colour looks lovely Lucy x
