I got a bottle of L’avoly’s The Special One in a goody bag from an event months ago and finally got around to using it.

L’avoly’s The Special One is a 10-in-1 hair treatment that you apply to your hair after washing. It has 10 specific actions to help keep your hair healthy:
- Detangles
- Helps prevent split ends
- Enhances shine
- Controls frizz
- Heat protection
- Moisturising
- Helps protects hair colour from fade
- Protects against damage from salt and chlorine
- Provides UV protection
- Primes your hair ready for styling.
Heat protection and UV protection is a must for me as I hair dry my hair 60% of the time and straighten it 100%. No wonder my hair is often dry and has split ends. I really do put it through hell.
This is easy to use, I put it on my hair after towel drying and continue with my normal routine. It’s not oily and doesn’t leave residue on your fingers – something I hate with hair products.
I found this did wonders for my frizzy hair. It really smoothed it out and I could see an instant difference.
It’s £15 for 150ml and from what I can tell, you can get it in some salons.
I’m glad I’ve started using this and it’ll now be part of my hair care routine.

Sounds great. Now I use a mask that helps with frizzy hair, but I have to use it every time I wash my hair. I might get this treatment if I don’t have to use the mask.
