When I was younger, I used to always buy dresses from Quiz clothing. In my 20’s, I was a bit put off by it because it seemed to cater for ladies in their late teens and early 20’s and I felt a bit too old to be wearing their sparkly dresses.

I was then given the chance to try out one of their dresses, which meant me going on their website to pick my favourites. I was surprised how much they’ve changed. I found loads of things I lived, I picked out these four dresses from the dress section.

I was sent the third dress on my list, which is a lovely going out dress with a longer back than front. I don’t know how to explain that. Tail hem? I don’t know.

I suddenly remember why I haven’t done an outfit post in yonks – I’m not great at them! Sorry for the mirror poses, I did try to take them outside but it was windy and I just looked like an old trout.

Anyway, if you want to check out the latest Quiz Dresses, check out Quiz Clothing.

  1. ‘I just looked like an old trout’ – omg this cracked me up, although I bet that’s absolute rubbish anyway. It looks great on you! I love the neckline, it’s gorgeous. Would be perfect for a wedding too! Maybe I need to have a little look in Quiz because to be honest I never do.

  6. I bought a dress there last year for a wedding after having avoided it for years – was so amazed that they had stuff I could still wear that I didn’t feel like mutton dressed as lamb in! That dress looks lovely on you btw.

  7. Ha ha, you always crack me up with your honest descriptions! That hem type has a few names- Dipped hem, hi-low dress, fishtail dress- there are various ways of describing it. I know this because of my endless search for a particular Clara Oswald dress!!!
