Yay Glossybox is here. Although I’m thinking of stopping buying the box every month, at least until I’ve got through some of the products. The just end up in the boxes unused for months and months so it’s not really worth it for me at the moment!
I feel like I just do it for the blog post, rather than the getting the box so it might be time to say goodbye.
Anyway, let’s look at what was in this months box.
Glossybox February 2017
Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm
This honey hair mask will leave your hair glossy and shiny. Leave it on 1 to 5 minutes to nourish your hair.
£4.49
MeMeMe Beat The Blues
I’ve had one of these before in pink colour and loved it. It’s great for creating a youthful dewy look. You dot the illuminator along your cheek bones for a highlight or you can mix with foundation for an all-over glow.
£7.25
Ciate Paint Pot
This nail polish in Ice Frappe is a lovely shade and I adore the name! Ciate nail varnishes are always so cute with their bow – but quite expensive for a nail colour I think!
£9
Jeanne Athens L’eau de Rose
This is such a simple, yet elegant fragrance. It’s a classic scent from Jeanne Athens, who has spent 35 years working with master perfumers from Grasse.
It’s a lovely addition to my ever growing perfume collection.
£20
La Theorie De Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion
I love the name of this brand! I’ve never heard of them before but what bright and colourful packaging!
It uses mineral-rich volcanic paste to help cleanse and purify your skin. The scrub starts pink and then turns grey as it starts to work on removing impurities and dead skin.
It’s paraben and silicone free as well as vegan. Hurrah!
£26
That’s an okay box to me, not that there’s anything wrong with it but I just prefer makeup in my beauty subscriptions.
I feel like I really need to up my fragrance game – I only have a couple in rotation 🙁
I love the Ciate nail polish, I have a few and I like all of them. It’s true that I usually get them from TKMaxx, so the price is much more wallet-friendly. 🙂
This seems like a pretty good box! I love the nail colour – the packaging is super cute.
That looks like a good box for once (or maybe because it didn’t have your witty quips and criticisms to accompany it)
Looks like an alrite box but nothing special! Don’t blame you for cancelling, I think too many times bloggers fall into the trap of making purchases for the sake of a post and most of the time the purchase costs more than the post ever makes!
Sarah 🙂
Saloca in Wonderland
The size of the perfume is kind of crazy! I’ve never seen what looks like a full size perfume in a sample box before. And I love the color of that nail polish, so cute!
The Ciante nail varnish is pretty. But I understand what you mean by a mixed experience, most subscriptions boxes have good and bad months. This looks like a nice box with a good mix of products Lucy x
