I find this time of year more than ever is a time to look after yourself. The dark evenings can put us in a slump. It’s cold and rainy and some of us are working long hours. This can mean we can put our mental and physical health on hold for a bit.

I know I start eating rubbish when I’m busy and go to the gym less when I’ve got lots of plans, which is typical for December.

I wanted this weeks topic to be a bit of a reminder of the things we can and should do to look after ourselves.

  1. The holidays are always a time when people drop off on looking after themselves so it’s good to hear some approaches to wellness that people take right now.

  2. Lots of great tips and ideas here! 🙂 Although December is summer for us it’s still Christmas so there is a lot of chocolate consumed, haha! I’m lucky the heat seems to kill my appetite and I want lots of water so I don’t snack too much, but my snack choices aren’t exactly healthy, ha!
