Rogue One is now out! Every person I’ve spoken to has said it’s amazing. Including my boyfriend who went to see it a couple of days ago. He said it was brill and now we’re going to go and see it after Christmas. I’m very excited.
This is something I’d never say a few months ago.
A few years ago, I tried to watch the first Star Wars film (in chronological order) and I just couldn’t get into it so didn’t bother with the rest. Then when my boyfriend found out I hadn’t watched them, I think he was about to end the relationship unless I agreed to watch them with him!
So we did. We watched all 7 films over the space of a month or so. And I’m now a changed woman.
It was the third film where Darth Vader died that I started getting into it. I was dying to see that mask removed and did a little cry. Then I loved Anakin as a little boy, pity he turned out to be so annoying. I can’t believe Padmé fell for him! All the time I was like VOM VOM VOM NO NO NO. I have such a love/hate relationship with Anakin!
Star Wars the Force Awakens was my favourite film. Each time an old character came in, it was so exciting! BB8 is awesome and I’ll never get over Hans Solo. Poor Chewy – his distress broke my heart.
With Star Wars freshly in my mind, I was happy to share this Star Wars Infographic which details how you can build a death star. I mean – who wouldn’t want to build their very own death star?
I’d love to see your thoughts on Star Wars – have you seen the new film? What are your favourite moments of the older ones?
I want my own Death Star. And my own BB8!
Sarah 🙂
This is something I wasn’t expecting to read on your blog: how to build a death star :)) I love Star Wars, but I was disappointed with The Force Awakens, glad you enjoyed it though.
I did exactly the same – tried to watch Star Wars years ago and gave up then was forced to by my boyfriend and got really into it!

Loved this! I grew up watching & loving the Star Wars saga! I’ve been a fan ever since my dad took me to the movie theater to see the original film. My sister and I saw Rogue One on the day it opened and LOVED IT!!! A friend of mine asked me if I liked it better than The Force Awakens and I said yes. It’s funny that Rogue One is not an official part of the main saga, yet it is one of the best Star Wars films ever made. I definitely rank it above TFA and all three of the trilogies. My sister and I plan to see it again! Welcome to the Force!
My boyfriend would build a fleet of Death Stars if he could! I’ve always enjoyed the franchise, but Force Awakens is my fave of all of them! 🙂 Tania Michele xx
