At the #BloggersBlogAwards, I won a box full of Janina teeth whitening goodies.
I’ve never heard of this company before but wanted to share with you.
When I’ve been using the products for a while, I may do individual reviews on the products I like the most based on my experience. This is more of an introduction to the brand.
Teeth whitening products have blown up in recent years. I remember when you would go to the supermarket and just get a normal Colgate or Aquafresh. Around 12 years or so ago, that seemed to change. Now almost every toothpaste on the shelf claims to be whitening.
My first experience with whitening toothpaste was when I was around 15 years old. I went to the dentist and he mentioned some marks on my front teeth. I had two small brown streaks thanks to my Dr Pepper addiction. My Mum bought me a tube of Beverly Hills Whitening Formula toothpaste from the shop and I was surprised to say that it got rid of the stains pretty quickly!
Here’s what was in the box I won:
Janina Activated Charcoal Toothpaste // £11.25
Janina Ultra White Activated Charcoal Toothpaste contains activated charcoal to help purify breath and release extra freshness. Activated charcoal’s ability to ‘absorb’ toxins from the mouth and remove stains without causing harm to the enamel. Charcoal seems to be a popular ingredient in whitening formulas and I have reviewed a product with it in beofre.
This formula contains the Whitening Patented Bromaine Complex, a combination of natural enzymes (Bromelaine from Pineapple and Papain from Papaya) to whiten teeth without the use of harsh abrasives.
Janina Maxiwhite Professional Teeth Whitening Pre-Filled Trays // £29.95
Janina Ultra White Maxiwhite Professional Teeth Whitening Pre-Filled Trays 5 Days System allow you to easily whiten your teeth at home without harsh ingredients or abrasives. The one-size-fits-all and ready-to-use trays are designed to whiten both front and back of teeth and are soft and flexible for comfortable use.
The active ingredient is Sodium Percarbonate, which when in contact with saliva forms a teeth whitening action. In a clinical test with 24 volunteers with yellow teeth, teeth were on average up to 3.6 shades whiter after just one application. After 5 days (1 application per day), the total whitening effect will be a minimum of 7 shades.
This is probably the item I’m most excited to try and most likley to review properly. I have reviewed a Smile Brilliant kit in the past, which was similar, but due to not having to send of individual moulds to be made and being about £100 cheaper, this looks like a much better option!
Janina White Clean & White Teeth Whitening Foam // £12.95
Janina Ultra White Clean & White Teeth Whitening Foam is an innovative and ultra-low abrasion teeth whitening foam that whitens and cleans teeth rapidly and effectively. The new Oxygenating Technology with Sodium Percarbonate, which when in contact with water/saliva, forms a teeth whitening action.
The exclusive foaming formula is able to dissolve particles and penetrate hard to reach places better than regular toothpastes. Its convenient and portable size is ideal to carry in handbags and gym bags for on-the-go teeth whitening.
Janina Instant White Teeth Whitening Spray // £9.95
Janina Ultra White Instant White Teeth Whitening Spray is an easy teeth whitening spray with no brushing and no water required – simply spray and swish. Easy to use and carry, it provides teeth whitening and cleaning on the go.
Active ingredients include Papain, a natural enzyme derived from Papaya to whiten teeth without harsh abrasives, and Sodium Fluoride to help prevent caries and decay.

Oooo I remember stroking this at the awards! I was so intrigued by the whole thing, especially the one size fits all tray, because I always thought they needed to be moulded to your own! I would love to see how it all works out as a whole! I hate the colour of my teeth!
Sarah 🙂
