#socialbloggers 112 // social media vs real life

This was a fun chat! It’s a pity more people didn’t show. I mean, where were all you #socialbloggers? It’s sad when you lot have plans on Saturday nights, which seems to happen a lot during the warmer months. Stop being social in real life and be social on social media. It’s 2016, get with the times, yo.

I guess I shouldn’t really talk, it was my twin niece and nephews 1st birthday party so I was at that. But do as I say, not as I do and all that. This is awkward.

Anyway – this chat was all about social media vs real life, which I think is a pretty interesting topic.

I think if my I could theme my life like Instagram, it would just be full of clutter and wine. That’s how my life feels at the moment. I’ve outgrown this house and there’s stuff everywhere and I’m in the middle of moving house so have new stuff and old stuff and argh!

Hopefully by next week, my life will be clear and bright. Here’s to hoping.

As for a social media function, I wish there was a way to like things in real life. Like, you can go around just liking things that people say, or things you see.

Look at that cat! *LIKE*. Ohhh that dress. *LIKE*. YOU SAID A FUNNY THING LOLOL *LIKE* *RETWEET*.

I’d also like that filter that makes my skin look perfect, please.

How about you?

Q1: If you could theme your life like your Instagram, can you describe how would look like?

Q2: Is there a social media feature that you wish existed in real life as well?

Q3: is there something that social media taught you and it worked well for your real life?
