On our trip to London, we stayed overnight at the Hilton Double Tree hotel in Ealing. This isn’t in central London – but it’s only around 30 minutes out on the tube so wasn’t an inconvenience at all.
To be honest, we just went once to check in, then went straight back out to London, then went back in the evening to sleep, then checked out in the morning.
Upon arrival, we were given a warm cookie and a bottle of water, which was a lovely touch.
We were in the Hhonors section floor at the top as it was booked through a family member of Hayley’s booked it through airline points.
They left a bottle of wine and truffles in the room – there was also a Nespresso machine which was probably the highlight of my stay as I’ve always wanted to try one! I was giddy to try it. Though sadly I didn’t enjoy my experience because the one I had was too strong. And also the problem with hotels and not enough milk.
Can someone please explain to me why hotels never give you enough milk?
4 little pots. I need like half a pint per coffee, haha.
Apart from the milk issue, the hotel was lovely. On the slightly smaller side but very clean with a massive flat screen on the floor opposite the bed.
It’s only a 5-minute walk from Ealing Common tube station, too.
Prices start from £149 a night, so check it out if you’re in London!
I hope you bagged those hotel toilitries, I’m a sucker for them haha! You should have just phoned down for some extra milk! We had one of those Nespresso machines when we stayed in Barcelona and it was the highlight of our room haha, we had so much fun trying out the different ones every morning, didn’t like many of them but hey, if its there to try, why not?
Sarah 🙂
Glad you had a nice time. Hilton is always reliable and when I get the chance is a hotel of choice. The coffee machine is a nice edition, I’m with you they never leave enough milk in hotel rooms. You can call down for fresh milk which is always my preference Lucy x
Hilton hotels are always the best. I’ve stayed in numerous branches and I’ve never been disappointed! <3
Ooooh it looks lovely! Hope you made your way through that bottle of wine! 🙂

I actually enjoy staying a bit further out of London – mainly because it’s cheaper and also because the hotels usually come with parking! Jealous you had a Nespresso machine I’ve never stayed in a hotel with one of those before!

Very nice! I hope you had a great trip 🙂
This looks like you had fun! Also, I know what you mean about there never being enough milk in hotels, but then theres never enough free toiletries or food either ;D
I’m close to Ealing though, so maybe I’ll check the place out sometime!

The warm cookie is my favorite part of staying at Double Tree 🙂
I absolutely love hotels! I feel pampered when I stay in one, even though it means living out of a suitcase.
