Collagenesis is a range of skincare by the brand Skinn. It’s designed to help with anti-aging issues and targets dry skin and wrinkles in mature skin.
They sent me three products from their range to try out and I’ve been using them for the past two weeks to see how I get on with the range.
I was sent 3 products, their 24-hour youth prevention cream, eye stem regen elite and stem regen facial serum elite.
Let’s start with the one I liked the least. The Twenty-Four Hour Youth Prevention Cream Elite. It works by helping your skin cells regenerate quicker, as this process slows down as you age. This leaves you with a revitalised looking skin.
The product itself is a strange consistency. It’s very thick and almost like a dense moose. Mouse. Moose. Wait, I don’t know which is right. I don’t mean a dense moose like the animal, but like the stuff you put on your hair.
Mousse. Apparently, that’s the word I need.
So yeah, it’s really thick but I didn’t feel like it provided me with moisture at all. I was working nights while using this and my skin was so dry it hurt by the end of the day. So I wouldn’t recommend this for dry skin.
Next up is the Stem Rejen Elite serum which was a much better texture. It was a bit thinner and wetter. If that makes sense. It feels really nice on the skin and I used it before the moisturiser and it did help keep my skin more hydrated than the moisturiser!
It has 3 new active ingredients, Glacier Water, Snow Algae Powder and Alpine Rose. Glacier Water is found in the glaciers of the Swiss Alps has been preserved for thousands of years keeping its youthful properties helping to keep skin looking younger by keeping it hydrated. Snow Algae Powder delivers anti-aging technology that mimics the effects of the caloric restriction process, thereby helping to increase the longevity of skin’s smooth and radiant appearance. I actually have no idea what that means. Caloric restriction in skin – weird?
Alpine Rose, a powder based on the stem cells of alpine rose leaves, enhances skin’s natural vitality and fortifies the skin’s barrier function so it can cope better with seasonal changes.
This is very similar to the face serum with the same 3 ingredients but is designed for use around the eye area. Do not get this in your eye, it stings, haha!
Overall I really enjoyed the serums, but my skin didn’t take too well to the moisturiser at all. I felt it just seemed to sit on top of my skin rather than soak in.

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but you can tell from the picture what you mean about the moisturiser! Glad you got on with the other two though – I find it so difficult to tell if anti ageing products are doing any good for me or not!
