This month has been pretty medium. Not much has happened. That’s disappointing because my previous two Mays have been epic. I always thought May was my month! But I guess not.
It’s not that anything bad happened, it’s just that everything seemed pretty bland.
I went out a few times with friends but spent a lot of time at the gym. So that’s good.
I’ve also made the decision to go it on my own. I’m 30 next month and over the last few months, I’ve really started to crave living on my own. It’s not that I hate my housemate, or she’s done anything wrong, it’s more than I’m tired of living out of a bedroom. I want my bedroom to be just that – a room where I sleep. Not a room that I have everything crammed in, computer at all. This house is also freezing in the winter and I don’t want another winter like that – also I’m not a fan of the house. I love my room, I love the area the house is in, but I hate the kitchen and living room. It’s very studenty and a bit grubby. I’ve seen a flat I want to view and I’m hoping I’ll get it. If I do, I’ll be moving in in October. I’m excited!
Here are some of my favourite posts in May:
- How blogging turned me into a douche.
- How to ask for blog payment without feeling guilty.
- Why I hate your Friday feeling.
- Why I care so much about pageviews.
- Products you would see if I created a beauty box.
How was your May?
