#OOTD // Emily and Fin for life

This isn’t the first time I’ve featured this dress. I also posted it here over 3 years ago.

You know, back in the early days of blogging – when I leaved in the house with the epic kitchen that had a brick wall fireplace.

This dress has to go down as one of my all time most worn. It’s one of those that flatters my waist, as well as being long enough for me! I have total tall girl problems when it comes to most dresses – though I’m not that tall, most seem to need a few extra inches to safe guard my dignity.

I wore this dress to meet up with Jess, who is also a blawger and her friend. Jess took the photos for me, woo Jess! She came up for a visit, so we had some food, met up with Sammie and her friend. Later, we managed to drag Hayley and Deimante out.

Many drinks were had and then I spent all Sunday hungover, pledging to never drink again.

I seriously am considering quitting alcohol. I am going out for my works leaving party next Tuesday and I am terrified of how I am going to feel on Wednesday. I can’t cope with the hangovers anymore. Even when I feel sober, I still end up so ill. I don’t want to lose a full day of blogging and a gym session because of alcohol.

Doom.

Your dress is perfect and it looks so cool in combination with the leather jacket! I think we all have that one perfect piece of clothing in our closets, the one that we wear for years and years, during all seasons and no matter how old it gets, it’s still perfect! 🙂

And best of luck with saying goodbye to alcohol, you can always cut it down to only one or two drinks for the beginning and see how things go from there! 🙂

I love the outfit, the dress is wonderful. And about the alcohol…I only have a alcohol drink during the weekends. I wish you luck with quitting the alcohol! You can do it!

Brick wall fireplace looks so cool, I wish my kitchen looked that cool. It is such a pretty dress and I like how colourful it is.
Quitting alcohol? Isn’t what we say all the time after a bad hangover? 🙂 If you try then good luck! x

Love this dress, the print is so pretty! I love items that you can keep in your wardrobe for years! That brick wall fireplace is amazing! I’ve recently cut down on alcohol because I just can’t hack hangovers anymore and I just feel like I’m wasting my weekend if I spend it hungover!

Feel the hell out of the post for a number of reasons.. The tall girl thing (for certain!) and the whole alcohol induced issues the next day. They say your body begins to age at 25, well I’m going to have to agree with that. I just can’t take it like I used to.. #WhatAWaste literally

Love that dress on you I can see why you’ve kept it so long 🙂 It’s good to have pieces that we know will always work in our wardrobes, and to wear them often.

Hope you have a fun time even if you don’t drink much – and that no matter how much you drink, you don’t have any ill effects the next morning from the leaving party next week!

I think I actually remember the first time this dress popped up on your blog, bloody hell I really have been stalking you long time haha! Still, it looks bloody gorgeous, you just can’t go wrong with Emily & Fin dresses! I think I have 2 and I love them so so much, they wear so well! I’m with you on the alcohol, a couple of drinks is fine but when I get drunk, I get seriously drunk and have started loosing about 2 days to a hangover now, I just can’t cope with it like I used to! I don’t think it’s about quitting, I think it’s more about moderation, less is more etc etc. Damn, I sound grown up. Make it stop!
