networking with bloggers

Right then. Networking is probably the best thing you can do for your blog. And networking with bloggers is probably going to be your best bet. Because most of us are up for finding new bloggers to chat to on Twitter and new blogs to read.

If you don’t think networking is important, then, well, you’ll probably struggle to get your posts read, to get your Tweets shared and to grow in general. But more importantly, you’re going to feel a bit lonely.

For me, it’s the comments and the tweets that keep me inspired and motivated to keep on blogging. I think if there wasn’t a way for others to comment on my posts to reach out to me, I probably wouldn’t still be writing on the site three years down the line.

I’m just going to leave some links here to posts I’ve wrote about networking in the past:

Q1: What are your favourite ways of networking with other bloggers? Is it the typical “comment on other blogs”?

Q2: Is there any new/fun way of networking you’ve found lately?

Q3: How do you cope with others who don’t response when you network with them? Is there a way to determine who to approach?

It happened a few times to ask a question and the person wasn’t bothered answering, although they were following me, so they must have seen the question. In general networking is great, I wish I could spend more time interacting on social media.

Commenting is a great way of connecting people and showing that you actually read their posts (not only writing a few words comments). I wish I could cope with everything, but it just doesn’t happen. Multitasking is pretty hard. Also for those who don’t response kinds puts me off. x
