The last few Glossybox’s have been so good! I’ve been really happy which that contents of each one and they’ve been great value for money.
But I guess it had to end somewhere, right? And the end is neigh. Wait, it’s even closer than that. It’s actually here. Meet the March box AKA – the most rubbish box for months.
March Glossybox 2016
Hey Honey // Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum
This serum is infused with honey and propolis, which have antibacterial and antiseptic properties to help perfect your skin to leave you with a glowing complexion all day.
£28.81
Olay Regenerist // Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream
I’m actually a bit excited to try this. It’s a skin tone perfecting cream to help even out skin tone. You use it twice a day on cleansed skin.
£29.99
Collection // Speedy Highlighter
This is quite a nice highlighter, though Glossybox seem to be sending a lot of highlighters out lately so I’m pretty rich in them for the next few years. No moar plz.
It’s a bit disappointing to see that this is one of the only two full sized products and it’s also the cheapest. Honesty, I kind of think Glossybox tend to chuck in full size Collection items (or Essence) quite a bit because they’re only a few quid and they can get away with padding out the box with a full size product for not a lot of cost. Which I understand, but I get Glossybox to try new brands I might not have heard of before, or for luxury products and these are just cheap bits of makeup I don’t really want or need.
£3.99
Luxie Rose Gold Large Angled Brush
This is the other full sized product. It’s actually quite nice. I like getting makeup brushes because they can last a long time if taken acre of problem.
This is an angled brush, which makes it perfect for contouring. If you can contour, that is. I’m afraid to try because I’m pretty sure I’ll end up looking like a clown.
£10.42
417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner.
This hair care duo has a combination of dead sea moisture balancing minerals, vitamins and essential oils which will leave your hair gleaming. Apparently.
They’re both sample size so I’ll probably save these an use them on a trip or something.
£16.89 each.
So yeah, that’s the box. Pretty disappointing that there’s only 2 full sized products and one of those is only worth a few quid.
Another thing that annoyed me about it is that they called the sample sizes ‘travel size’ and I kind of feel like I’m being conned as travel size sounds much more positive than sample.
Bad Glossybox.
I do hope you’re better next month.

That makeup brush looks great!
Beauty Candy Loves
I used to subscribe to glossybox but their products ended up smaller and smaller and not so good in the end! At least the brush is nice x
Indeed the brush is very nice. Hopefully the next box will be better!
This would be the ‘hit the cancel’ button box for me I’m afraid! GlossyBox just don’t get it right often enough for me to consider taking back up my subscription. I’m with you, sample size and travel sized are two different things. Samples are sachets, or 1 – 2 use at best, travel should at least last a couple of days!

Saloca in Wonderland
Interesting items will like to know more about the speedy highlighter.
I’ve done Birchbox in the US and UK, and it’s rare that there was a box where I was excited about everything in it (maybe twice over two years?) Usually there were one or two things that I thought sounded cool, some meh stuff and at least one thing that I’d give away to a friend (sorry but I do not want perfume samples, fake tan or bronzing products, highlighters or blush – I just don’t use them!) I canceled after January’s box and have been thinking about trying something else. This looks… much the same.
I will say that I did discover a line of lippies that I really like (Laqa and Co) as well as the foundation I use (Supergoop CC cream) via Birchbox US, so it’s not been all bad!
I love the look of the brush, I have a bit of addiction to collecting pretty makeup brushes however, yeah that’s quite a disappointing box on the whole. I fell out of love with Glossybox a while ago, I just felt I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. I cancelled a lot of my subscriptions but I kept my You Beauty Box (only £6.96), Degustabox and also pick up the odd Latest in Beauty Box sometimes.

It’s a really disappointing box this month. The full size products aren’t that great, what a shame.
I feel like you hear less about Glossybox now then what you did a year or so ago. Could this be down to the quality of the contents declining?
I have just started Birchbox and I love it, but then again that could be novelty staying strong.
I dislike getting shampoo&conditioner and moisturizers in my subscription boxes. I have my own and don’t need tiny samples. I would be pissed if this was my box.
Bah, what a shame! The angled brush is a pretty good throw in but hair products and drug-store products? Hm. I guess these things will have to slip up somewhere, right?

I wasn’t impressed with this months box either, the Olay is good but its such a tiny tube it won’t last long. I’ve tried the shampoo and conditioner and I wasn’t impressed.

Hmm. I think this is an alright box – nothing special, and I do see what you’re saying about the full sized product only being worth a few quid – it’s a bit of a cop out! I really like the sound of the Hey Honey serum, though 🙂

These are such fantastic products!! I would like to try these, it sounds good!!!! Lovely reviews!!

It must be a letdown since your last two boxes were really good. What a bummer that they couldn’t include nicer full size products.
Shame that this box wasn’t as impressive as the past ones!
I tried a subscription box service here and just got a bunch of tiny sample size products that were a waste of money IMHO, so I cancelled my subscription the same day I got the box. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to feel let down with it!
It’s a shame the box wasn’t impressive, it’s so annoying when that happens isn’t it? I agree completely about the whole “travel size” thing, to me a travel size is a good size mini that you get a good few uses out of and a sample is something I’d use once and twice if I’m lucky, great post as always xxxx 🙂

When I saw this was what was inside the box I really wasn’t wowed! Such a shame!
Is it wrong that I like how mean you are about Glossybox!!! I like the sound of the honey product but everything else is rather meh!Xx
The highlight and contour brush are nice but can see the frustration there are only so many highlighters that you need Lucyx
That Olay skin tone perfecting cream sounds good! Can see your frustration with this box though; it doesn’t look like much either… x x
I used to subscribe to Glossybox but I ended up being constantly disappointed. Now I get Birchbox and I’m happy every month, they’re sooo soo much better. Plus they work with Benefit!
