Urm. I don’t really know how to follow that title.
The thing is, sometimes writing reviews isn’t that exciting and I can’t always think of a way to get your attention. And since I’ve been up since 4:30, I can’t come up with anything better.
Things are getting desperate here on The Skinedcartree.
But if Buzzfeed can rely on click bait titles that don’t deliver, then so can I. YOLO.
I was sent this Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 age defying moisturiser during one of those event thingys that happen over Christmas. Tesco were letting people give a gift to their friends and the wonderful Anouska Loves nominated me. Thanks, you hottie you.
I’ve been using this for over a month now and while usually I feel pretty meh about moisturiser, I quite like this little pot of goodness.
It has 7 benefits, of which you can see below:
I think the benefits I’ve noticed most is it’s evened out my skin stone slightly and my skin does appear brighter since I’ve been using this.
I can’t say I’ve noticed much difference when it comes to the other benefits, but the benefits it has given me are enough to make me want to buy this again.
I have really dry skin, and while it kept my skin soft for the most part, deeeeep into the winter I often felt like it wasn’t enough around my nose area and my skin would feel tight during long days at work. So if you’re super dry like moi, you might need something a bit more intense for those problem areas.
But overall, I like dis.
It can stay.

I have a really weird skin but I mostly think of it as oily. Then again it depends on the weather. But I can see how hard it must be to find a moisturizer that goes into your skin so much that you can see a difference in the dryness. Does this make sense? I just think it’s a bit harder on dry skin but a product sort of needs to break into it. But I’m glad you liked it and that it’s helped you see a bit more of brightness on your face. I think I need to change moisturizers as well because I don’t see a difference in that department.

I haven’t used an olay product in years but used to like them way back when! xoxo

I never try this brand before I might have to consider it now thank for this review.
I love Olay, I’ve been using their daily beauty fluid for as long as I can remember and though others have come and gone, this is always my go-to daily moisturiser. It does exactly what I need it to do and it doesn’t break the bank!

I quite like Olay, it’s not a ‘glam’ brand but I always feel like it does the job! x
Josie | Sick Chick Chic
I like Olay as a brand for their consistency but when it comes to their products I do not feel/experience the ‘wow’ I am looking for.

Don’t get me started about my skin, its pretty much all over the place, oh well, I think that’s what they call university stress haha, but I’ve seen this advertised so heavily in the UK, literally on most channels and have always wanted to give it a go, I think after reading this post, I might just have too lol ♥

I suffer from quite bad acne, so I’m always swapping and changing my moisturisers to see how things are working out! Olay hasn’t hit my list yet, so I might give it a shot! Thank you! x

I’ve seen this product at the drugstore and wondered how well it worked. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.
This was the only thing that I used on my face from the age 20 until my early 30s and I swear it’s the reason why I have very good skin until today.
CLICK BAIT WOO. I should try more Olay things, I always hear good stuff.
I love 7 in 1 range of Olay! I used quite a few products and they made my skin so soft (I have oily skin so it gave enough moisture). x
Finding a good moisturiser for dry skin is really difficult Olay is what my mum has sworn by for years so it must be good. Sounds like it did the trick shame about around the nose Lucy x
Haha nice post your title got my attention anyway
Thanks for sharing your review of this – I’ve been curious but never bought it. I do have crazy dry skin, so I’ll probably pass on it, but it’s good to know without wasting the money.
I quite like Olay, I currently use their beauty fluid. Might have to give this a whirl when I’ve run out though. It sounds pretty good! xo
