The Lush sex bomb bath bomb smells lushlishious. It contains jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage which smell so nice together.
Jasmine is also an ancient aphrodisiac. O er.
After a long day at work and a gym session, a Lush bath seemed appealing. So I ran the bath and made myself a cup of tea. Also, I obviously took photos of the sex bomb before lobbing it in my bathtub.

I was looking forward to this new life experience, as I’ve heard other people were left very satisfied after their sex bomb.
Also, it looks cool, the flower thing looked fun but weird. Kind of reminds me of a vagina. Is that a weird thing to say? I don’t care.
About the Lush Sex Bomb
The Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb is a popular bath bomb created by Lush, a cosmetics company known for its handmade and eco-friendly products. The Sex Bomb bath bomb releases a fragrant and colourful mix of essential oils, flower petals, and other natural ingredients.
The main fragrance of the Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb is jasmine, which is known for its aphrodisiac properties and its ability to promote relaxation and relieve stress. Other ingredients in the Sex Bomb include ylang-ylang oil, which is said to promote a sense of calm and balance, and clary sage oil, which is said to have mood-lifting properties.
The Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb turns your bath a bright pink colour and the fragrance fills the room, creating a relaxing and sensual atmosphere.
The Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb is vegan and cruelty-free, and it is made with natural ingredients, including essential oils and flower petals. It is a popular choice for those who are looking for a luxurious and sensual bath experience, and it is often given as a gift for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or other special occasions.
Trying the Lush Sex Bomb
I popped it in the bath and was expecting explosions.
At first, it was really exciting as the blue and pink melted away, but after the first few seconds, I was bored and left wondering when this would be over. It seemed to go on for ages.

It did turn the bath water pink which was nice, I guess. I wanted more. More purple and blue.
Also, the flower thing came out. I touched it and it was weird. Soft. Sticky. Weird. It disintegrated in my hand and I was left wondering what had just happened. I later found out that it was rice paper. The petals are supposed to float on the surface, like rose petals in the bath.

It did make my bath smell nice, but not as nice as it smelt before I put it in the bath. Sometimes things just aren’t as good as you think they’re going to be, and this was one of those times.

If you’re looking for an average bath, this could be for you.
When was the last time you were disappointed with something?
Have you tried the Lush Sexbomb bath bomb?

lol :)) Your title made my day. xx
Hahaha I love the title! Never tried one of these before, but I am in love with their cupcake face mask!

haha love this, however my experience with this bath bomb wasn’t as bad as what you’re describing haha maybe our sex bombs are different ;P Sad that it didn’t hold your attention for very long cause it is such a beautiful bath bomb!
I’ve only been disappointed once, mainly my fault, I can’t even remember the name of the bath bomb. I just remember watching a YouTube video so intently I didn’t even realize that I had kicked the plug out of the bath and all the water was gone. BAM wasted bath bomb, 5 min bath and no chance for another as I just used all the hot water hahahah

I have to agree I was not please with this one as well but do love the rose in the middle.
Love the title hahaha! I have used this one twice, I think asthetically it’s beautiful, and I like the colour of my bath, the scent is nice too, our experiences seem different 🙂 I love lush!! Xx

I haven’t had any disappointing experience with bath bombs, but I haven’t used them for a few years (not having bath sucks!). I hate touching wet paper type things, I just hate the feeling! I am sure your bath was looking really pretty with pinkish water 🙂 x
I hate a disappointing bath bomb, especially when you’ve really got yourself in the mood for something magical. I also really hate it when the bath bombs are full of SO much glitter than you work up a sweat cleaning the bath after a long luxurious soak!
Sarah 🙂
Best title and great post! I always wish the bathbombs done something more… ‘awesome’? Tania xx taniamichele.blogspot.co.uk
Haha!I haven’t tried this particular bath bomb but I now know to stay away from it thanks to you. I’m not particularly a fan of average baths :p
I’m finding that Lush bath bombs fall into two categories recently brilliant or a bit of a let down, there is no middle ground. Now don’t get me wrong some of my favourite don’t have loads of colours and fizz but they do something else like moisturiser my skin and smell divine. There are however a few that look amazing and then when dropped in a bath do very little. Shake that this was one of those Lucy x
Yeah it is a bit vagina-esque to be honest. I hate when bath bombs are disappointing, whenever I use bubble bath I use the whole bottle to get that many bubbles 🙂

I’m glad I read this,
I have a Lush bath bomb every week to de-stress with, I would have hated to have a disappointing one!
I don’t think anything will beat their Experimenter bath bombs!
what a shame that it didn’t turn out as good as it looked like, I love the color combination though, so pretty!
I was so tempted to get this the other day and I’m kind of glad that I didn’t because it sounds SO disappointing. I felt like this with a few of the Lush bath bombs (like the Sowhite bath bomb) and it was such a bummer because they’re usually amazing. Oh well!
Honestly, when it comes to your posts I always expect more than what the title provides us. It’s like “oooo I know she’s going to trick me” (in a really really really good way). And when I first read the title, on twitter, I thought I’d prepare myself for later on because I really thought it would be about “the first time”. I don’t knwo if that’s what I wanted, because either way, I always love what you write and this is no exception – but throughout the whole post I was waiting for a “this relates to sex too” sort of thing. Ahahahahah. There were some analogies (either that or I have a really dirty mind, so I apologize).
Anyway – I’ve never tried a bath bomb because I have a shower so I’ve never been given the opportunity to, but it’s always been something I’ve wanted to try because I’ve heard it’s quite relaxing. It’s such a shame that it didn’t work that way for you and that it wasn’t nearly as exciting as it looked. Kinda waiting for that to happen to me as well!

I had a similar experience with the Sakura bath bomb. It looked, and smelt, gorgeous but I was left totally disappointed once I’d dropped it in. There will always be disappointments, I guess. I just know I won’t pick up the Sakura bath bomb again! (Also, when I first saw the Sex Bomb bath bomb, I thought the pink bit in the middle looked a bit like a vagina. Haha!) xo
haha you are a funny thing!
I’ve actually never tried this bath bomb but it’s always a bit disappointing when one of them doesn’t quite live up to your expectations! 😉
I am happy I tend to resent the smells the majority loves, I haven’t picked this up because I don’t enjoy the smell of it and couldn’t fall into the hype. I tend to go for the less hyped up products that nobody really writes about since I love the smell of them. (Except the twilight bath bomb from lush, but then again, the scent alone was enough to knock me out, and I’d just finished a 12 hour workday the first time I used this) And I’ve never been disappointed with any of their products besides the yog-nog bath bomb!
