It’s getting to that time of year where it’s dark, dull, foggy and rainy. This is my least favourite time of year until Christmas starts to get into full swing. It’s quite easy to feel demotivated and a big sluggish!

I like to keep myself grounded and happy in a variety of different ways, such as eating well, exercising, laying of the alcohol, feeling planned and organised around blogging and work.. these these always make me feel better!

  2. Oh I really like that quote “it doesnโ€™t matter if itโ€™s raining outside because the sun can always shine in your heart”, that’s lovely!

    I think getting enough sleep and water are two simple things that can make a big difference health-wise ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Yes to 10 Things I Hate About You! I miss Heath Ledger and he was absolute brilliant in that indie movie. It’s also a movie that never fails to perk me up whenever I am down.

  6. I can feel the dark nights making me lazier, it’s too easy now to just curl up on the couch, wrap up warm and have a Netflix binge! I’m going to make sure I drag myself to the gym through the winter and get up off the couch every once in a while for a good pamper. Just because it’s gloomy outside doesn’t mean I have to be gloomy inside!

    Also, ANY Disney films makes me feel good! ๐Ÿ˜€

  7. I always try to drink plenty of water and walk as much as I can (It is almost impossible during the week as I am in the office from 8 to 5:30) Totally agree with ‘change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change’ however it is something I don’t do ๐Ÿ™ xx

  8. Well, I get depressed a little at this time, has not been a great year for me in some ways, as I do to cheer? Think of pleasant things and to project by January, holidays, new plans.

  9. The best purchase I ever made to help keep myself healthy in the winter is a lumie light alarm. The natural day light to wake up has done me wonders Lucy x
