Goals can be a great way to motivate yourself and give yourself a way to track your progress. Having monthly goals can be a good idea as yearly ones often get lost and forgotten come spring.

I’m the type of person that if I give myself a year to do something, I’ll waltz through the first few months with the mindset of ‘I have all year’. Then before I know it, it’s December!

Monthly goals are just the right amount of time to make a difference but not too long to get distracted.

Most of my goals lately have been centred around fitness, I’d love to set more blogging related goals but it’s just not realistic time wise right now!

I’d love to hear about your goals.

Q1: Do you set monthly goals? If yes, which sort of goals do you intend to fulfil?

Q2: What are your goals for August? Is there anything you’re looking forward to achieve?

Q3: How do you make sure that your goals are achieved? Tell us your best tips.

  1. Interesting post and to see what people’s goals are. Usually my goals are to just improve stats from the month before or to improve from the month with the top stats. Or to gain more followers in a certain social media! 🙂

  2. When I first started blogging, I never set goals, but not that I’ve been doing it for a long time, I find that setting goals is a lot of fun and makes you feel a bit accomplished when you achieve them. I don’t freak if I don’t meet the challenges, but I just find the fun in them, keeps blogging from being routine really. Because new people on the blog bring new ideas and voices. But, I think challenging and setting goals is a great thing in blogging 🙂 xx

  3. I love reading all these, it’s very inpiring and I get to know how other bloggers do, so I quit asking myself if I’m the only one feeling something about blogging, but glad to know, I’m not alone.

  4. I know majority bloggers set goals for themselves but I’m not one of them. I usually just blog as I go or as my mood is on that moment.

  5. Setting goals a long way ahead I always struggle with, doing short distance ones a month or so ahead work really well. I love having a notepad to jot down ideas and keeping notes on my phone of things I must do Lucy x

  6. I usually set yearly goals because that gives me more flexibility, but I definitely agree that a a year is long time and one can get distracted… 🙂

  7. I set my blog goals and social media goals at the same time. I just reached my goal of having 400 followers on instagram so my new goal is 1000. My blog goal is to get to 2000 views and 1000 visitors by September 1st.. so hopefully I get there!!

  8. I do not establesco goals every month, but I always worry about promoting my blog and social networks, it is a painstaking work but I think that works.
