I’ve had this sample of Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream for probably about a year. Actually, I’ve had two samples of it from two different blog events.
I was a big BB cream fan a few years ago, using them daily. But over the past 18 months, I’ve been wearing foundation every day instead as I wanted more coverage than what a BB cream could give me.
I’ve been having a play with this, here’s how it went.
Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream Review
What it does.
It’s a nude cover BB cream that’s suitable for all skin tones.
It’s blessed with a SPF of 30, perfect for those English roses like me!
It moisturises, nourishes and gives an even skin tone to your skin with a matte finish.
The anti-oxidants in the green tea help to prevent fine lines, as well as helping to cover and reduce current ones.
Ingredients:
Water, Propylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Dimethyloctanoate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Sodium Chloride, Dimethicone PEG-8 Laurate, 1,2-He
My experience:
I was actually quite shocked that this matched my skin tone. I was expecting it to be a bit dark for me, but thought it suited me perfectly.
It also covers old acne marks better than previous BB creams I’ve used and I’d say it was on par with my current Rimmel Perfect Match foundation.
I felt it made me feel really glowy and healthy.
I’d even go as far to say I would recommend you try this. Which is something I don’t often say!
What are your thought on BB creams?
Thanks for sharing with us this great product!

One of the ingredients is green tea now that is interesting product great review.
I’d love to be able to wear a BB cream but they just don’t work well with my skin at all which is the biggest bitch! Even ones that are designed for oily skin fail me!
Love the coverage this gave you, who doesn’t want to feel all growly and healthy *life goals*! Sounds like it would be a perfect daily staple over summer to replace heavier foundations!

Ha, that’s hard. Maybe you’ll find one that works for you okay one day!
This product looks really good and natural on your skin Corinne! I’ve never used a BB cream but I did make up for a friend the other day and she prefers it so I’ve decided I should try it out!
Yeah it’s a good option for those wanting a more natural look.
That SPF of thirty would be a god-send for me too.

I have been wearing LOTS of BB cream recently due to the hot weather. And omg, it’s been years since I’ve heard anyone using Ginvera! What a walk down memory lane.

Haha! I’ve never seen it or heard of it before to be honest. It’s just a sample I was even at an event!

Sounds like a great product the fact that it has SPF built in even better. It’s great that it matched your skin tone and you saw the benefits of using it Lucy x
Yeah, I hate it when my products don’t have SPF!
I love this BB cream! I’d have a few samples of it from events and the like but I really need to invest in a full size one now I’m nearly out!
I love BB creams but I don’t mind light, drugstore foundation works just as fine for me..
