Glossybox May 2015 // Summers Calling

You know when you’re in a room. And then you do not leave the said room. But something you had in the room with you goes missing?

Well, that’s what happened to me with the product description card from the May 2015 Glossybox.

I know I had it because it’s in the photos.

But it’s gone.

I checked everywhere. Under the sofa, in the bin, in the Glossybox 406543 times..

My living room isn’t exactly large, so there’s only so many places you can look.

After checking the full room, then checking my room, bathroom, fridge and cutlery drawer just in case, I gave up. I’ve had to search the internet for some of the prices, so they might differ from the price that Glossybox gives on the leaflet.

My house is clearly haunted.

This box was based around Summer, giving you a handy few products you might want to take on holiday with you or use in the warmer months.

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate

This is a 30ml sample size of what’s probably ever girl’s dream product.

It’s a product to help prevent ingrown hairs, reduce re-growth and uses Aloe Vera to sooth shaven/waxed skin. It’s specially made for your more intimate areas. Sorry, but really have the urge to say VAGINA right now. So I’m going just say it. VAGINA. There. I feel better now.

It’s something I’d definitely repurchase if it works!

£12 for 100ml

Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel

Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel

I’m sure most of you have heard about Aloe Vera being soothing for skin, which makes this moisturiser the perfect travel companion. Use twice a day to sooth, moisturise and improve your skins elasticity.

The bottle makes it quite easy to travel with, too, and I think I’m going to save this for my summer holiday in September!

£15.93 for 40ml

MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand

MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand

MeMeMe seems to becoming a regular product in Glossyboxes. Though I’ve not seen any products out on the high street, I would be tempted to have a browse and possibly buy based on the products I’ve tried so far.

This duel ended wand is in the shade midnight storm. It features a turquoise shade and then a darker blue on the other end. It’s highly pigmented and shimmery and is something I’m going to enjoy experimenting with a bit!

Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam

long bridesmaid dresses

This is a 70ml sample size which is pretty decent considering it’s over half what you would get in a full sized product.

I need to use this and see if it’s true. It seems a bit mental.

You message it through your hair and while it’s still soapy, remove the soap with your towel then style as normal.

I’ve used dry shampoos before so would be interested to see if this does a better job as them as my hair only seems to be able to cope with one day of dry shampooing!

£7.75 for 180ml

Collection Cosmetics Field Day Lipstick

I got the shade 2 Tulip in this, I love the shade and it’s something I’ll be wearing this summer. It’s not too bright, but does add a lick of coral to your lips. Perfect for a summer look!

The May Glossybox gets a big thumbs up for me. One of my favourite boxes in a while!

Which would you like to try the most?

  2. I bet you found the card just after writing this up, or as the post went live? Definitely something that’d happen to me! This May box looks fab, I’ve been loving experimenting with blue eye make up recently, and that Collection lipstick shade is gorgeous!

  5. Try looking the card in between books, I have a knack of using it as a book marker. And please do a full review on the Towel off shampoo? It seems so interesting and a bit gimmicky so would be good to know if it truly works.

  6. The towel off shampoo looks really interesting – I hope it works. The first two products look great, and I love the colour and packaging of the lipstick! I’m tempted to subscribe to Glossybox now!

  7. That shampoo foam sounds so interesting – would love to hear your feedback after you tried it! I use dry shampoo (a new mum essential!) but my hair only lasts a day after it too, I definitely need to wash it after then as my hair doesn’t feel nice.

  8. A towel off shampoo foam seems pretty interesting lol! So it’s a shampoo for towel dried hair, or a styling product? I need something like that skin concentrate, SO MANY INGROWN HAIRS ;_;

  9. The shampoo foam sounds really intriguing. They use something similar on me sometimes at my hair salon.

  10. These look great, I love boxes like this 🙂 Hahaha…Vagina, I would have been tempted to say it to. I like the MeMeMe Products, I won a few of their stuff before and they worked really well. Not tried the pencils before though. I hope you enjoy all of these 🙂 xx

  11. I love Aloe Vera on holiday as it is great after sun moisturiser. The shampoo looks interesting you will have to share how it works Lucy x
