I was sent this lippy by Cohorted quite a while go for a competition I hosted. I’ve had it in my box of things to review for months but just never got around to it.
It wasn’t until I saw a review of a MUA product on another blog that I thought about it again. It’s the little pot, you see.
The little pot at the bottom of the tube that you can unscrew and use it for touch ups. I was a bit like WTF is this pot for. I don’t get it. I don’t get why you would need a little pot of lipstick at the bottom for the actual lipstick that is exactly the same. Just in a pot. It’s fiddly.
I tried it on and it’s not as bright as I expected it to be. It’s got a slight orange tinge to it, which was unexpected.
The staying power isn’t amazing, but it’s wearable. And you have the little pot for touch ups. Which I still don’t get why you just wouldn’t use the main lipstick part. It’s driving me a bit mental.
To be honest, I don’t have much else to say about it. I’m too distracted by this pot business.
I’ll just let the pictures do the talking…
The color looks fabulous on you. Happy Easter.
I really like that color on you <3 Gorgeous!

Nice color 🙂
that is a nice shade, but I agree with you that the little pot at the end is very confusing! I don’t really get the point of it either, but I’m not a great beauty guru so most makeup confuses me haha!
Hope you have a great Easter!
It’s a pretty color on you! It kinda looks like a travel piece, maybe? Idk…
I love the colour on you! x
such a vibrant color!!! 😀
Have a great Easter Sunday!! 😀

GlamupGirls
I actually like the colour on you a lot! I suppose it would be good to wear when you don’t exactly need it to last long, errands and stuff. 🙂
I was sent an MUA lipstick on a blogger swap and I didn’t know what’s what that was! I thought it was just to show the color of the lipstick!
Love your title for this, made me laugh! That is so confusing, surely just use the lipstick as normal, and it doesn’t even look like you could apply the lipstick properly using the pot? So strange!
Honest reviews are always the best though!
cottonandcandie xx
The pot confuses me too! Lovely colour though x

So beautiful color dear
Love the honest review, I’m always so skeptical when everyone only talks about the positive in their reviews… anyhoo, great post my friend! <3 – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
Glad you enjoyed it. I do like to point out the cons as well as the pros!
I’m with you, I don’t get why there is this pot?! The colour looks nice on you but as it does not seem to hae magic stay-on powers I guess it’s just as good as any other lipstick.
Yeah. All lipstick is rubbish at staying on apart from provocolips.
i love reading your blog. you used such a good words while writing in your blog. and that lipstick color is wow!

Haha!
Shame that it isn’t that bright and the staying power wasn’t grey it looks pretty on Lucy x
The shade really suits you!
I’m too confused by the pot as well.. not only will you get a red finger doing your touch ups (as well as possibly getting red everywhere!) but WHY, oh WHY cant you just use the damn tube?
Lol!
Oh yea, red fingers! Not a great look.
