goals and inspiration

I can talk about goals all day. I set myself plenty of them. They mainly revolve around blogging and fitness.

I usually set a long term goal, but then set smaller ones to help me get there. Like, for example, one goal is to run a sub 60 minute 10k. One mini goal I set help me get to this was to run a sub 30 minute 5k. Which I smashed on Saturday!

Other goals I have are to run a half marathon in less than 2hours 30 minutes, to hit 2000 Bloglovin followers, gain more readers on my fitness blog and to get a certain amount of daily/monthly page views.

Eventually be in a position where I can earn enough money consistently so I can go part time at work and put more time and effort into blogging and fitness.

I’m quite self-motivated, but I do draw in a lot of inspiration from feedback I get from you guys and from instagram. I love tracking my progress and posting my workouts on instagram. Though I do see how it can seem a bit braggy, it really helps me stay accountable!

Have a read through the questions of the latest chat, I’d love to hear about your goals and inspiration so do comment below!

Q1: What is your main goal of life right now? It could be personal, blogging or studies related.

Q2: What are your efforts to accomplish your goals? Are you nailing it or trying to nail it?

Q3: Who has inspired / helped you the most in achieving and shaping up your goals?

  4. Goals are so important, I think. They can never be too big or too small c:

I’m not too sure what my main life goal is right now, maybe overcome my depersonalisation. I’m trying to nail it aha. I’d probably answer #3 with my friends and family c:

  5. I love this post! I think goals are really vital to staying motivated and measuring your achievements. I haven’t really defined any one goal for the year but I think overall, I’d just like to learn to be content with what I have, keep going on my journey to get healthier and happier, and to keep working on my academic goals (MOOCs and postgraduate study).

  6. This is awesome that you constantly set goals for yourself and smaller ones to help along the way! It’s a great way to stay motivated and complete everything you want to do. Life is so busy, and there are so many things to do, so I think I’m going to start setting more small goals to help keep me on track! Thanks for sharing 🙂
