What’s your Mum’s style? // Land’s End Clothing

landsend

As you can tell, it’s Mother’s day weekend here on my blog!

Buying for my Mum is always hard. I’m always stumped at what to get her. You can only buy a bottle of wine, bunch of flowers and Cliff Richard CD so many times before it starts being cliche. So to avoid that, I always try to get her different things each time.

I’m going to Cyprus in September with my parents, my brother, his wife, kids and some of their friends. So when Land’s End asked me to style my Mum from there range, I thought picking something for the holiday would be a good idea. Because no matter how many clothes you own, something new for your summer holiday is always a must!

I’ve picked out a day time and an evening look.

Day time look.

A swimming costume is essential, and Land’s End have a lovely collection of swimwear. The patterns and designs are all lovely and they have some swim skirts, shorts and items that would cover you up a bit more if you’re not confident with wearing a tiny bikini or even a costume.

I’ve picked out this bikini because I love the pattern. Although I would have picked a more colourful one for myself, I think this is different enough to stand out, but still fits in with my Mum’s usual style. She does tend to like things that are in fashion, but usually goes for a minimal version of it.

This dresskini is something that can be worn in the water or would be good for doing a bit of shopping or getting lunch before spending the afternoon at the beach. I want this for myself. Give it.

Cork flipflops, because flipflops are standard must haves for holidays! This large tote bag is also great for chucking your towel and suncream in, you can customise it, too, by adding your Mum’s initials or up to 5 letters.

I picked out this dress. I don’t think I need to explain why – it’s stunning. And there’s pockets. POCKETS! You all know how I feel about dresses with pockets. I love this gold statement necklace with the blue and gold bracelet.

Wedges are perfect for holidays. These are not too high so you can still explore country you’re visited while being comfortable. The navy cardigan is for when it gets a bit chilly towards the end of the night on the way back to the villa.

Check out Land’s End for yourself and tell me what you’d pick out for your Mum.
