I loved my January Glossybox, it was the best box I’ve had so far with 5 full size products. Of course this means that the February Glossybox had a lot of live up to.

It’s valentines day in just a few days, so it’s not really a surprise that this box is the love edition.

February Glossybox 2015

I love it when the boxes have a design on them, it just as a bit of extra fun. Let’s see what was inside!

got2be // All star 10 in 1 syling

A hair styling product. Meh. I don’t use anything like this on my hair apart from serum. I thought this was a type of hair spray but it’s something you put on damp hair, so I’ll try this and maybe I’ll like it.

It promises to have 10 benefits to your hair, including frizz control and shine.

Royal Apothic // Tinties

The packing is lovely! I’m getting a collection of the cutest items. I’m going to keep them on my desk forever because they’re so cute. And also because they’re mostly shit.

I was very excited about this but when I opened it, it looks cute but it looked cheap inside the pot, it doesn’t show in the photos, but there’s a small gap between the product and pot which just seems cheap.

If you can get over that, it’s a tinted balm that has shea butter, and argan, grape seed and almond oil to nourish lips.

MARSK // Mineral Eyeshadow – Fifty Shades

What was a stupid name. 50 shades of grey is just the biggest load of trash in the world. I would never have bought this in a million years.

BUT LOOK AT IT. It’s a perfect metallic eyeshadow. It’s so pigmented and shimmer. I want to see if they have more colours because I’m pretty damn impressed with this. Although that pains me to admit it. Because of the stupid name.

So Susan // Rose Quartel Lip & Cheek Palette

february glossybox 2015

I’m a big fan of So Susan, I’ve never seen their products in stores though, just tried a few from subscription boxes and I’ve always been impressed with the products.

This is a tiny palette for lips and cheeks. Like the lip balm above, this looks cheap. It looks like play makeup!

It’s 4 colours to be versatile but it’s just really small. I don’t think I’d be tempted to buy this ever, I’d prefer just one colour a bit bigger!

Wilkinson Sword // Hydro Silk

february glossybox 2015

Woo! This is a product that will always come in handy. I’ve been a loyal Venus lady for a few years, so bring it on.

It has a bar that activates when it meets water to release serum to help keep your legs soft. I’ve tried a similar version of this before from Venus but the soap part was chunky so it was hard to shave some areas. Cut knees and ankles. Wah. This looks like it won’t have that problem though!

Which product would you most like to try?

  1. I don’t normally like beauty boxes as they don’t seem to be worth it but this one actually looks really good! The eyeshadow looks a gorgeous shade 🙂

    Beth / Bethany Georgina

  2. I love when they make the box packaging themed, it adds something a bit extra 🙂 I’m hoping to avoid all of the Fifty Shades nonsense like the plague, but have to agree that that eyeshadow is a beauty! Also, unsure about the got2be hair product – 10 in 1 is a strong claim!

  3. I have that razor and I like it, definitely helps in avoiding cuts in the knee and ankle region. And the eyeshadow is gorgeous, name be damned

  4. I love the Marsk Eyeshadows! I have one in the shade ‘You’re Toast’ which is a gorgeous, sort of tan colour with a subtle shimmer. Tan eyeshadow sounds weird, but it’s very flattering. They’re such a lovely product.

  5. The razor and hair product looks like something I’d love to try. I’m always struggling to tame my hair after I wash it! <3 xx

  6. Why oh why people/company have to use the name ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ of anything even remotely similar to that is beyond me. That book is an insult to literature or anyone who can read.
However, I do agree the eyeshadow is gorgeous, the swatch is unreal!

  7. Does the lip balm feel cheap on the lips? It may have just pulled away from the glass due to its ingredient base. Lovely photos!

Erin | Erin and Katherine Talk Beauty

  8. Wilkinsons razers are the best. I smashed mine this week and need to buy a new one. Scott actually smashed it, put it back together and then broke it again. Douche. I think this box is quite meh, I wouldn’t buy any of it myself personally. But at least you love the eyeshadow!

    India / Touchscreens & Beautyqueens

  9. I love your writing! Just found your blog and can’t wait to read more. Honest and sassy and refreshing!
    Peyton McKee

  10. Not sure how I feel about “The Love Box” branding – but otherwise it looks great – so glad you got full sizes (I hate samples/minis.)

    Lizzie Dripping

  11. hahaha is good to hear that you are not fan of 50 shades of Grey, neither I am, interesting productsI Well I must admit that the shadow has good pigment!

  12. i really like the design of the box looks circus themed. You will have to let me know if the spray for your hair is any good. I agree with you about the name for the eyeshadow a definite way not to sell a product, maybe a rename is in order as it is so pretty on. This is a lovely box Lucy x

  13. Very cute box ! Royal Aopthic product has a fabulous packaging ! The palette is adorable too, I love these shades 🙂
