A new box is upon us. I love it when I’m home on the day of my Degustabox delivery! Nothing’s worse than missing it and having to wait and extra day or two.
It’s a bit mental that my first Degustabox was in February 2014, which means I’ve been getting the boxes for over a year. It’s become something I look forward to each month. Getting packages is always fun, but getting a package of food is even better.
Let’s see what was inside this one.
February Degustabox 2015
Lily O’Brien’s Coca Cookie Crunch
These luxury snack pouches come from Ireland’s best-loved chocolatier. These indulgent chocolate biscuit bites are smothered in chocolate and are the type of treat you only need one or two of to feel like you’ve got you’re chocolate fix. They’re very rich!
Whole Earth Peanut Butter
This peanut butter has added Sunflower, Pumpkin and Flaxseed making it a perfect way to pump up the protein.
I’ve heard of putting peanut butter in smoothies but I’ve never tried it myself – this is the next on my list of things to add to smoothies for sure!
Beet It Sport Bar
I was so happy to see these in the box! I’ve been going to the gym lately after work and though I intend to eat at work, I often don’t have time so have to grab something on the go so I have the energy to work out.
These are now in my gym bag for the next time I need something before a gym session.
They contain 400mg of dietary nitrate and can help lower blood pressure and improve sports performance.
Jack Link’s Beef Snack
These beef snacks are aimed at busy people who want a healthier, high protein snack. They’re made with the highest quality beef, but unfortunately they’re not suitable for vegetarians – so I’ll be giving this away.
I’ve not had these for years! They’re small crisp toast that you can put a variety of toppings on, either a sweet topping at breakfast – I’m thinking jam or Nutella, or a savoury topping for later in the day. They’re just simple snacks that you can chuck anything on!
I’ve never been a massive fan of peanuts or peanut butter, but this drink is delicious. It’s creamy, sweet and delicious and only 83 calories per serving!
Perfect as an alternative to tea or coffee if you’re trying to cut down on caffeine, or a perfect before bed drink!
American Muffin Company Brownie Bites
Brownies. Ahhhh. I’m not a major fan of sweet things and cakes, but I do have a slight weakness for brownies.
6 individually wrapped brownies that are gluten and wheat free. Do these count as a pre-workout snack too, please?
A refreshing lemon, lime and mint flavoured drink. Sounds delicious. It’s suggested to have this with a shot of white rum for a delicious drink but as I don’t drink much, I’m going to add this to a 3 hour Snowboarding session.
Schwartz Flavour Shots
I have a bit of sad news. I was sent two Schwartz Flavour shots, which are herbs, spices and seasons with oil to help you create meals without having to faff about with individual spices, but the plastic pots had cracked so they leaked and were not fit for photo.
I must mention though that this is the 13th box I’ve had and the first time something has arrived broken. Degustabox bubble wrap all glass products and the products as a whole are wrapped in big bubble wrap to prevent breakage, but unfortunately accidents do sometimes happen during delivery.
If any products are every found broken or in poor condition, all you need to do is send an e-mail to email@example.com and they’ll send out a replacement immediately.
