Oh man, I think I’m proper clever for putting that text on the sign and being able to change the angle. Even though it looks cheesy as fuck. It’s the small wins, people.
January was a pretty decent month for me. I got many things accomplished. Mainly:
- Janathon – worked out every day in January!
- Completed the 30 days of yoga challenge with Adriene without skipping a day.
- Still on with the P90 workouts.
- Had a snowboarding lesson.
Snowboarding has to be one of the highlights! It was so much fun and we’re going for the second lesson on Thursday. You can read more about my experience here. I also changed the domain of my fitness blog to slimmedcartree, which makes me laugh. It feels much more at home now. Please check it out, it’s a little lonely over there! If you have any fitness/diet related posts, I’d love you to link me to them!
I visited baby Flip and I had a quite a few holiday days from work which was amazing. I was alcohol free the whole month apart from a works party, which haunted me with a hangover to remind me how alcohol ruins me and stifles my productivity like woah.
I also turned vegetarian and I’ve just finished my third week. The prawns in the photo were before the change, haha. It wasn’t something planned, but something I’ve considered for a while and while I was off work, I was in Asda and noticed that Quorn was on offer, so I thought I’d try it for a week and I’ve enjoyed it so far!
I feel like my meals were all the same, so it gives me something new to try and I’ve been enjoying getting my protein in different ways.
I’m kicking off February by going to a blog event about Juicing this afternoon which I’ve been excited about for the last few months!
I’d like to get out on my bike a few times this month and run a few times too. It’s been hell with the whether. Snow, rain, wind, hailstone and sleet. Doom on you, England. Big fat poopy doom. I’ve been working out mostly in my room – best thing about being in the basement is I can jump around and do cardio as much as I want.
I’ve got some posts coming up this month that I’m excited to publish. Blog tips, beauty reviews, outfits and a few personal posts. There’s nothing better than being excited to publish a post and read the feed back on it. Follow me on Bloglovin to keep up! 🙂
How was your January?

This post has made me really want a fruit salad!
Great post! Just gotta say, I like how you recap. I’ve been trying out different monthly recap ideas (just published a new version yesterday) and I find them oddly hard to do well! Good job!
The idea of a snowboarding lesson seems so much fun. What a fun recap of the month, I really liked the way you did it with a mix of your instagram pictures in there too. Definitely need to start using my instagram more! 🙂

Sounds like you had a great January, productive one too. January was bitter sweet to me, unwillingly turned 36 (I’m officially an oldie) but am damn happy with my blog redesign.
