Blaze OnHi.

We’re all told regularly about the importance of networking. The once popular saying ‘write it and they will come‘ has been thrown out the window to make room for the era of self-promotion and social networks.

With so many happy bloggers out there trying to share their message and views on the world, it’s not as easy to get noticed through the power of content and organic search alone.

You need to network.

There’s so many social media networks out there, I always think that it’s much better to put your time and focus into one or two, than to try and take on too many.

I’ve already wrote a handful of posts about networking, so here are some of them:

7 ways to leave great blog comments.
15 ways to use Twitter to increase blog traffic.
How to get more engagement on Facebook.

Now on to the chat.

Networking with Bloggers and Brands

Q1 : What are your favourite ways to network with bloggers + brands? Share your foolproof tips

Q2: Have you ever encountered any misbehave/bullying while networking? Share your experience

Q3: Which social media hasn’t been the most successful for you to do networking?

Q4: If you could create a social media site by yourself, what will be the main features of that site?

What are your networking tips?

  1. I always share my latest posts on all social media platforms I find that twitter is more engaging for some reason.

  2. I share my posts on all my networks, but I do have ones that I enjoy more than others, like Instagram or Tumblr. Twitter used to be a favourite, but I’ve gotten a bit bored of it lately. xx

  3. Really enjoyed being part of this weeks chat. Instagram is by far my favourite as I find it easy to manage but I really want to get into using Twitter more.

  4. It’s so crazy how everyone is responding differently about the social media sharing, not everything works for everyone 😉 xo

  5. Networking is tough for me. I don’t have many followers on Twitter or Instagram. I honestly don’t know how to get more followers. Oh, well.. but I do somehow share my post on FB, Insta and Twitter

  6. This post is really helpful for me – I don’t use Twitter at all really and I really should start! I have the account but just don’t bother with it! Interesting to see how many people use it and find it so helpful to them x

  7. I’ve definitely realized how important networking is to having a successful blog! Takes lots of time and effort, but definitely worth it!

  9. Networking is indeed important. On that note: you can follow me through Bloglovin’, Pinterest, Instagram and on Facebook. 😉 lol. Thanks for your comment on my blog 🙂

  11. As always a great chat. Knowing what social network to be on and what to use it for is a little overwhelming. It takes up lots of time. I now have limited it down to just a few that I use regularly. Would love to know how to use google +Lucy x

  12. You do realise how much of a star you are for these posts?! Just off to make a cup tea and sit and this thoroughly!

  15. Great post 🙂 I’d say commenting on posts really helps! People usually comment back etc and you build up relationships that way 🙂 xx
