Social Shopping with Piccing

Lovers of Instagram, Pinterest and shopping, I’ve got a new website for you to check out! If you’ve ever found yourself drooling over items on your Pinterest feed, but have no idea where to find them to buy, Piccing is a problem solver for you.

Piccing is a platform for sharing images and also being able to shop them. Whether you want to just admire some stunning photos, get inspiration for an outfit or want to buy a new pair of shoes, Piccing can help you.

When you click on an image, it has the option to re-picc the item to your own profile, or by clicking the green circle, you can find similar items across the web and buy them.

You can install a toolbar to your browser, so that you can picc any image from the web to your profile – think Pinterest’s pin it buttons.

When you picc an image, you can mark up to 5 areas of the image – so if it was an outfit, you could mark the shoes, dress, jacket etc. Then you can add the description and colour and piccing will bring down a drop down menu of similar items so you can purchase it for yourself.

You can follow others through piccing as well as search images via their search bar.

I think it’s quite a nifty site – I love the idea of being able to buy items that I’m stalking online as well as sharing them with others.

Have you even tried this site before? What do you think?
