Online Avenue is an online store that sells men’s and women’s shoes at reasonable prices. From what I can tell, most items seem to be between £15-20. CHEAP SHOOOOOESSS. Yes please.

I’m a bit of a cheap skate, you see. I think it’s because I’m so fickle with clothes, shoes and jewellery. There are only a handful of items in my wardrobe that I’ve worn 5 or more times. Because I’m likely to love something one month, then hate it the next, I tend not to spend a lot of money on things.

From the tabs in the menu bar, it looks like they may be branching out into clothing and accessories, too.

They sent me these shoes to review.

Delivery time was quick, but it’s hard to comment on the delivery time of review item vs the delivery time of something bought on the site! They were well packaged in a shoe box.

I’m never sure what shoe size to get, as I’m a 4 in some shoes and a 5 in others. I usually go for half sizes, which aren’t available on Online Avenue, so I went with a 5.

It was a good choice, because they fit me fine!

The only thing I wasn’t too happy about was the quality of the material on the counter (top part of shoe above the heel) – it was a bit dirty out of the box. Also on the toe box and platform on the inner side of the shoe, the material had creased, leaving them looking dinted.

Everyone who has seen the shoes so far have said they’re lovely – I also wore them one Christmas day, you can see the outfit here.

  1. These are pretty but as someone with a bad knee I think that good shoes are important. Yes, yes boring but it is true. I love the boots and slippers. Wishing you a wonderful New Year. Lucy x

  2. I have SUCH a shoe fettish – I used to buy one pair of shoes every month hahaha but I’ve had to stop that now because I am planning of traveling as much as possible with the new year!!!

I can live vicariously through you though 😀

Merry merry and enjoy celebrating the arrival of 2015 tomorrow night lovely xx

  3. Will check if they ship to Canada, I have been searching high and low for a good pair of wells and there is no one selling them here! Grr! It’s raining a lot on some days and I desperately need a good pair. Thanks for the review!

  4. Bargains are always good. Can I ask how wide the shoes are? I love cheaper shoes, but sadly so many high street brands don’t fit my stupid feet :(. These are are gorgeous pair and the studded and tartan ones you picked out are stunners and right up my alley.

    1. I would say they are a normal size, my feet are not very wide and they fit me fine so I wouldn’t say they’re great for wider feet.

  5. The shoes look lovely on the photo! And very reasonable price! And I guess at so cheap you have to accept the quality may be compromised. Great post xx

  6. Bargains are a double edged sword. Sometimes you get a great deal but a bad product. Hopefully these hold up because they’re cute as a button. Wishing you a joyous rest of 2014! :] // ▲ itsCarmen.com ▲

  7. those shoes are super cute ! I have the same issue with choosing the right size that’s why I am so scared of ordering shoes online so I am stucked with several shops we have in my country. (not really a huge selection of shoes here lol )
