I love Christmas and reading Christmas themed posts really gets me in the spirit.

My favourite type of Christmas blog posts to read have to be home decor ones. Seeing all the cute Christmas decorations and trees really reminds me of putting my own tree up as a child.Β As I live in a shared house with friends, we don’t put up any Christmas decorations as we all go home for Christmas day, so there doesn’t seem much point!

I also love reading posts about what people have got for Christmas. I’m nosey and any Christmas/birthday hauls are a win for me. For the past two years, I’ve posted my own haul on my blog and I plan to do the same this year. Does anyone else get annoyed if someone says ‘I’m not bragging’ as a disclaimer? I think it’s more of a youtube thing when people do room tours etc – but it really annoys me! It’s you’re blog and you can brag if you want to. Fuck that shit. I’M BRAGGING MY ASS OFF THIS YEAR. and there is nothing you can do to stop me.

I know Christmas can feel a little anti-climatical, but it’s the build up that I enjoy. It’s the music and the happiness that seems to follow people. I like work the most at Christmas because everyone seems to be in a good mood. Things that may otherwise frustrate a person seem to not bother them as much – as though they have some extra Christmas patience!

I have some Christmas posts planned and I can’t wait to start working on them. Some are just ideas so we’ll have to see how they turn out!
