GlassesShop is one of those online stores that allows you to buy cheap glasses. You can enter your prescription and have it set to the various frames available at the store.
You can pick the lens type and colour from an easy-to-use drop-down menu as you select which ones you would like.
When GlassesShop offered to send me some to try – I had a nosey over to their sunglasses section. I had fun looking for a new pair of prescription glasses from GlassesShop.com for summer. But I don’t wear glasses myself so I didn’t get a chance to try out the prescription lenses.
I selected two pairs. They arrived a week or so after my order and came in plastic cases. The cases do look a bit thin and cheap – but I would expect that’s one of the ways they can keep the prices down.
The glasses seem sturdy enough and well made. I can’t wait to wear this in the summer next year as well as in my car now.
Winter sun is the worst when driving – I probably wear glasses in the car more in the winter than in the summer!
