Oh man. 40 #socialbloggers chats. I cannot believe we’ve done that many already! It doesn’t seem that long ago that we started this weekly Saturday evening chat! I’m so glad we started, because it’s given me lots of food for thought!

This weeks chat was about motivation and inspiration.

Motivation and inspiration can both be fickle things, in my experience.

I’m the type of person to throw myself 150% into something, feeling very motivated and verging on obsession – reading everything about what goal I’m working towards, submerging myself in information and working on it as much as possible.

Unfortunately, this can be fleeting and the drive I have can soon leave me as quick as it has come to me!

This doesn’t relate to just one area of my life, but many, such as:

  • Keeping my room tidy.
  • Exercise.
  • Eating healthy.
  • Learning a new skill.
  • Keeping on top of ironning (yuck).
  • Staying the fuck away from cheese.

The only thing in my whole life that I’ve manage to keep motivated and inspired about is blogging. I’m now hoping to take that motivation and transfer it into exercise, which you can read more about over on my fitness blog where I speak about how I worked out every day last week and lost 5lbs.
