Those bold statements about blogging that you must follow – we’ve all heard them. Blogging myths.
Rather than ask questions, I thought I would list a few myths, or statements, regarding blogging so we could discuss them during the chat.
There are probably decent arguments both for and against each of the statements so it’s interesting to see everyones views!
I’m not going to get too into my thoughts as I would like to write a separate post on the topic, but here are the statements and some of the answers.
I would love you all to get involved and put your views forward to!

These were great questions. I don’t post every day, I think having a good schedule is key more than posting every day. The ones I find more annoying though are the ones that post numerous times a day & then expect people to read them all, not everyone has time for that. Posting every day doesn’t bother me as long as the bloggers understand that not everyone can comment on every one or comment a little late. But, having a schedule is a good thing as it gives readers in a routine of knowing when you’ll post and it also helps me in planning posts as well.xx
Not true is not the time you spent is the quality of what you write and present to your readers great question doll.
Aw I wish I could’ve joined in but it’s been great reading this post and everyone’s answers. Very jealous of those who can write a blog post in under an hour, my desire to proof read thirty times (and still manage to miss something) doesn’t allow that unfortunately!
x
i find my readers don’t read my long posts, and then ask me questions that would be answered had they read the post. i do include pics to break it up, but still. i post 5 times a week because i love it 🙂
i loved this post so much! please make another one like this soon!! xx

Wow , love these types of posts.
As a new blogger I am finding it hard to know what I am doing and over the last few days I have found that I will just make my own rules. I am just doing it as a hobby not to make money, it’s just to take my mind off very personal stressy real life problems. I am really enjoying it though and I really love reading other peoples bloggs.
Excellent questions.
I am still getting to grips with the whole bloglovin thing I also heard of something called wordpress but I don;t think my brain can take anymore haha .
Thank you <3 I hope you do more like this xox
Great answers there is so much rubbish that people spout about blogging. My view is do what makes you happy and don’t listen to anyone else. Really enjoyed reading the answers Lucy x
I love this post! Its so interesting to see what other people think, and also how everyone is different! Love it!!

This is a brilliant post! I blog 3 times a week and I try my best to give quality over quantity. Blogging is hard work, way harder than I thought it would ever be but I love it!
Reflection of Sanity
I always thought the first one was true! I realize now that it does not matter how often you post, but what you post and how you interact with your readers!

It’s so interesting to see what other bloggers think!
Fuming I missed another chat, life has been crazy lately! I will do my damnedest to be back this weekend if it kills me! Love the questions and answers from this session, most genuine bloggers seem to be on the same page when it comes to these myths!
Sarah 🙂
Great post! I don’t blog everyday… mostly because each of my posts takes hours to photograph, write and edit. But I think quality is better than quantity!

this was such a great read!
I great post – I do post every day but I post short posts that cover my life rather than topical posts.

This is a great post! I need to start following the #socialbloggers so I can get more involved with it as I felt like I had something to say on all those myths despite it being more from a blog reader point of view. One thing I will add here though is that I am not a big fan of daily posts! With plenty of commitments I find it rather difficult to keep up with my favourite blogs. And usually I check my bloglovin feed at most twice a week. If there are posts for everyday of the week, I definitely will need to pick and choose meaning I don’t get to see some other content 🙂 xx Lara
Such a great post! Loved reading other blogger opinions
Dovile
Great post! Love these social blogger posts. 🙂 Definately interested in joining your chats. Btw, I believe you should blog for yourself. And do it in your own time. Just enjoy it.
