I love coconut water, me. So when I saw that the lovely Jackie from Beautify used it in a smoothie, I decided I wanted in on the action so decided to make my own.
I love the idea of using coconut water, I usually put milk in a smoothie but this just seems a lot healthier. Coconut water has so many health benefits such as:
- Helps aid weight loss.
- Helps cure hangovers.
- Helps clear your skin.
- It’s hydrating.
- Lowers blood pressure.
I could go on, but those are the key ones!
I particularly like the idea of having coconut water after a workout to rehydrate you, so why not prepare this before you hit the gym or go for a run, leave it in the fridge and enjoy it when you come back?
I simply blended some red grapes and strawberries together, added some coconut water and poured it into these adorable glass jar mugs. How bloggy are these mugs, right?
