Glossybox July 2014 Review

glossybox july 2014

Hello hello internets. Time for my Glossybox July 2014 Review!

OMFG IT’S STARS AND STRIPS! This American themed box is definitely one of my favourites. I’m happy to say I’m becoming increasingly more impressed with these boxes, better yet – this one was FREE as I had enough Glossydots to qualify for a free one. Double win!

July Glossybox 2014

Carmex Lip Balm.

Eh, this is okay but it’s not something that I would buy because it’s in a pot and I hate the thought of rubbing my finger in something then smushing it on my lips. In public. Gross. Also, Carmex is a well known brand so while it might be a practical product for a lot of people, it’s not something that I expect from a Glossybox. I prefer new and unknown brands and products. Probably one of my least favourite items in the box. Booo.

ABSOLUTE New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer.

ABSOLUTE New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer.

I’m quite new to Primer, only using two before having this one – an Urban Decay on and a Benefit one, so I’ll be interested to see if I can tell a difference with this one. It comes with a wand to apply and then blend in to create an even base. I love wands. Accio wine.

The shade I was sent was ‘Cat Walk’ and it’s perfect for me, as I’m not brave enough to wear bright red, even though I wish I was! I’m wearing lip products more lately and this American favourite contains antioxidants including vitamin C and Vitamin E so I can look after my lips as well as look good. Oh, and it smells like candy.

Colour Club Glossy Seal.

This colour was created just for Glossybox and I love it! I usually get sent browns and nudes in my Glossyboxes, which I never wear so it’s so nice to receive a colour I don’t own yet and also love! Can’t wait to rock this on my nails.

Dr Bronner's Magic Liquid Soaps

Dr Bronner’s Magic Liquid Soaps

This product is made with a blend of Organic Coconut, Palm, Olive, Hemp and Jojoba Oil as well as vitamin E. So, basically all the ingredients we hear about when reading about great skincare. It’s a gentle soap that can be used on all skin types, including babies and sensitive skin. It can be use in the shower, on your hands or in a bath. I did get one of these at a blog events and I’ve not tried it out yet. Must do it!

Final Thoughts.

One of my favourite Glossyboxes. Although I don’t really like the Carmex and I’m a bit MEH about the body wash. The other 3 products are fab and I’m excited to use them, I love that 4 out of 5 of the products were full size, too! So the Glossybox July 2014 gets a thumbs up from me!

What products out of these would you love to try?
