I have long, thick hair and I’m always faffing with it – so when Xtras were reaching out to bloggers to review some items, I was more than happy to join in.

I remember when Xtras first opened in my home town of Doncaster – we used to always go in for cheap makeup and perfume. It’s mainly known for hair extensions and makeup but have recently launched a new range of hair accessories. I was allowed to pick a few items for review and a few days later these arrived in the post. Click on the name to be taken to the product page:

Here are what the clips look like, if you are curious:
Over all, I’m very impressed with Xtras new hair collection. They have loads of accessories available both online and in their stores. I REALLY want to try this hair chalk, there are a few colours and I’m curious to see how pigmented the items are, I wish it was on the website when I was selecting items as I would have picked that! They have some really cute scrunchies also, and most of their accessories are avaibiable in multiple colours so you can be sure to find something to match your outfit. I can’t wait to match some of these up with some of my clothes and take some of these to Florida with me!

Oh, I did something scary yesterday – I went to a blogger meet up and met 8 lovely bloggers – most of which I had never spoken to until the meeting. New friends, winner! I even managed to say some human words and I don’t think I was TOO awkward or creepy. Result. We had breakfast in a diner near where I live. I kind of feel like a real blogger now.

  1. ah, hope you had the best time at the meet up! i forgot to get back to you about it earlier, but you would’ve been the only person i know and i probably would’ve felt too awkward to go, haha:-) maybe if there’s a next time, i’ll become a real blogger too! also, i really like the headband:-) xx

  2. Blogger meet ups are the best! I was so nervous before my first one that I came close to backing out – it was way out of my comfort zone! But I forced myself to go along and had an absolute blast – it was great to meet people who do what you do and you don’t have to explain or justify anything about blogging to them because they just get it! And it really does make you feel like an official blogger! 🙂

Love the clips, especially the bow, clamp and Alice band! Pretty sure Xtras doesn’t exist here in Liverpool!

  3. They are lovely, Corinne and I loved your flower clips ( both, the sunflower and the floral clamp claw, I am mad about flowers). Perfect for your beautiful dresses. Kisses:)

  4. Great stuff! Since my hair seem to break more hair ties and clips than I can buy, maybe U should check this out 🙂
