Shoes : ASOS/New Look

Ahh, what a beautiful day it is today! It’s such a pity that my housemates are both working so we cannot go play outside! I am home alone, then I am working all Sunday and Monday – boo and hiss.

I bought this dress a few months ago but it’s never been appropriate to show it because of zee rain etc. My favorite blogger, Amber, always wears the most beautiful dresses and skirts and wears a petticoat underneath to give that added ‘poof’. I decided a couple of days ago to buy one myself, after trying on a few skirts and dresses and being disappointed by the ‘flatness’ of them all.

So here we are. What do you think of petticoats? Do you like the way the change the shape of dresses and skirts? Do you own one?

Please don’t forget to follow me on twitter and like my new facebook page =)

  6. Hello from Spain: stunning dress. You’re very pretty. I like to add the petticoat to increase the flight of the dress but I do not see in stores these petticoats. Can you teach in some post the sort of petticoat you buy?? Keep in touch

  8. Dearest Corinne, you look so pretty with your wonderful dress and the petticoat <3 I like it to stay alone at home, too, but this is very seldom and when it happens I feel very very strange after a while 😉 Yes I own a kind of petticoat for my “Dirndl” (= Bavarian traditional dress) and I agree, each dress or skirt becomes much more volume with it! So you did it right to buy it!

Wish you not to hard work tomorrow – enjoy your free evening 🙂

  23. I’ve only worn a petticoat once, for a wedding. I felt like a princess because of how the dress opened up, but I don’t think I’d be able to wear it regularly. ~Maika
