Room Tour Oh No.

Okay, so a few of you said you wanted to see a tour of my room.

The main reason I am up for this is because I am moving house in 2 and half months so it would be nice to look back on. I am kind of sentimental like that.

I live in a shared house, so I have a lot of things in my room. A lot of things that I wouldn’t have in my room if I had my own place (DVDs, books, game consoles etcetc). It’s not a student house, we all work full time and have long since finished studying!




This is my desk. If you are wondering why I have 2 keyboards and mice, it’s because I have a PC and Mac both connected to the TV (as well as my beloved xBox 360). There is a map of Skyrim above, which is one of my fav video games!



My piano, acoustic and electric guitar. Also please note the two hoola hoops. One is a kids one and the other one is a weighted on. I love hoola hooping. Also the fan is there because the sun sits on my roof all day (when it is sunny) and makes the room wayyy too hot. Bedside table next to the piano, with books, my Nintendo 3DS and pink lemonade! 



Xbox games, of course! The doll was the first doll I ever got. She called Cheeky and looks creepy but I’ve had her since I was born, so I keep her in my room. The Barbie is one my housemates got me for Christmas about 4 years ago, it is called Corinne! I also have a Harry Potter official wand (it’s Lunas), DVDS, Nintendo 3Ds games and some paint brushes. Also a bottle of wine (standard).


This is my bed. With my laptop on it and my massive bear which goes by the name of Zooey Deschanel. I sleep with it every night. I also sleep with the lamp on, about 3 years ago I developed a fear of the dark, I don’t know if it is a fear, just, I hate sleeping with the light off!

Under the bed hides books, note pads, blets, shoes and makeup/beauty products I do not use every day. 


This is one of my wardrobes with beauty products on top that I need to use, and my Boobah. (yes, I’m a massive kid)


This is where I do my makeup. All the products I use daily, moisturisers, deodorant, vitamins and nail varnishes live here. 


The majority of my dresses live here. Note how the bar kind of droops – it is falling apart. It is also leaning forward by about 10 inces and I am sure it is going to collapse some time soon, it’s depressing. I keep scarfs and hats on top and some of my shoes on the bottom. To the right is my mirror, Zooey poster and some pictures I got from Prague. 


This is a painting my housemate, Christine painted for me. She also painted the Wonder Woman one above my bedside table. 


Under the slant. I hate the slant. Fuck you, slant. Oh no, I don’t think I’ve ever said bad words on my blog before. But I do not like the slant. I find it really oppressing and bang my head on it on a regular basis. I have 4 sets of plastic drawers because I have too many things. The pink/purple one has underwear, socks and tights in, the green/red/blue ones have jumpers, PJs, tights, tshirts and nail stuff in them and the clear on is just full of random stuff. Batteries, pens, electrical chords, iPhone cases etc etc. Band hero in the back ground. YAYAYAY. Spare handbags and shoes go in that corner to die. I have photos that I really need to take down on the slant as they are curling at the edges. Oh no.

So, there you have it. That is my room. It is cluttered and full of stuff I probably don’t need, it’s not exactly how I would want it to be but it’s all I have to work with at the moment. I will share my new room with you when I move in July!

  1. Woooh I can’t wait to see your new room, look at your computer its amazing!!
    My boyfriend doesn’t like the dark he puts the TV on timer till he goes to sleep, annoying for me because I like darkness when I’m in bed 🙂

  20. Your room’s too cute!! I’m a huge kid myself and sleep with six cuddletoys. My mom keeps trying to throw them out/away but I refuse!! They’re my cotton kids, after all. Lol!

    P/s: I get pretty F YOU ROOM, too. I just feel like there’s all this clutter that has accumulated over the years now that I just have so much trouble sorting through and getting rid of. I can’t wait for the day I move out and get to start over in a new place!! ARGH! D:

  23. I love seeing the inside of people’s homes! Your room is so lovely, the bedspread is my favorite part along with your beauty products… I need to clean my makeup drawer so badly. Can’t wait to see where you end up moving and I hope there isnt a slant! Are we following each other over bloglovin yet?

  25. I see a Barbie 😀 LOVED to play with Barbie when I was younger! (Well even when I was like 14 or so xD). Oh and on the subject about watches: I forgot about them, too but now I see them as an accessorie and get used to looking at them for the time, too 😉

    AHh so jealous of your room it looks pretty big, you have a double bed AND space to walk around!! I was just about to comment on your slant thing being cool I love them slant things when I saw your commetns on it hahaha I think they give the room character ! My room is pretty similar to yours in terms of objects overload except mine is 10000x messier I have a lot of stuff + mess + a rabbit running around :'(
    Sorry if im being nosy but. Are your bills inclusive how much you pay? I always wonder how much everyone around the UK pays because I’m in winchester and it’s freaken expensive!!!!

    2. OMG that seriously is so so so so goood!! 😐 😐 😐 No wonder every student at my uni is always skint and the rest of UK get to go shopping wit htheir loans :'(w
      We’re definitely being conned out of our money! We are paying £1850 for 5 people!
