Today is the last day off my 5 days off. I may be smiling in this photos, but I’m weeping like a small child on the inside.

I’m wearing my hair in a fish tail plait. YAY. This is fun, but takes ages. I really really need to get my hair cut. And soon.

This whole outfit is basically from Tesco. Hat, jumper, skirt and red tights and boots. All from Tesco. Weird as I don’t really think I have many things form there. Apparently I am wrong.

My skirt is really too big. Sad. It does not sit in the right place. Oh well. I may have to put this away as it is just really annoying to wear. Woe.

Today I went to Tesco. YESYES. I bought some WHISKY because I have been craving some for ages. Give it to me. I want to drink it on the rocks in a small glass like they do in the movies. When I say ‘they’ I mean the old men in suits that look really cool. It also makes a cool clanging sound with all the ice and everything. This is what I’ll be doing tonight, but I don’t think we have ice. Dang.

I also bought some chai tea. I have been wanting to try some for eons as I keep hearing people bang on about it, I didn’t actually think I could like it as I’ve never been a fan of any tea except good old English tea. But gosh, it is WONDERFUL. WANT WANT. Give me more. You should try it.

You may notice that there is a lot of fruit in my trolly. It is basically all fruit apart from the wine, whiskey, milk and chai tea. I have been reading a lot about fruitarianism lately, watching a lot of youtube videos, documentaries and reading a lot of blogs about it and I think I want to give veganism/fruitarianism a try and see what happens.

This is not a permanent thing, nor something I am trying on a whim. I just want to see if it will help my energy levels and help clear up my skin. I am not doing this for weight loss or anything like that either, I’d like to maintain my current weight. This is purely for health reasons.

Any TIPZ?

  1. I lost 8 kgs last summer and my doctor was worried. Since that day I am eating a lot of fruits. It’s such a good thing to eat.

  2. Fruitarianism is a very and mortal(in any cases)wrong diet, believe me…Other thing is to make a cure, one day per month, based in having only fruits, vegetables juice and infusions to be hydrated. I´ve done this last one sometimes, and it works: it cleans your body and keeps you healthy. But that day you have to try not to do hard physical work, but be calm an relaxed.

  3. If you just live mainly on fruits you will be eating way too many sugars (albeit naturally occuring ones) which isn’t good for you or your skin. If you eat mainly vegetables and the odd fruit as a treat you will be fine, you wont be great though as your body, hair and skin need protein to grow and regenerate. If you want to do it then great give it a go but I don’t think it is a healthy option Corinne (tut tut missy!! I will tell you off!!) LOL

Anyway you look cute, love the colour of your tights, enjoy your whiskey!

  10. It certainly won’t improve your energy levels and in fact can do a lot of harm due to the fact that your diet already sounds quite unbalanced and low in essential nutrients. And I’d definitely avoid alcohol 100%.
    Love the hair. 🙂

  11. I heard that too, that frutarianism should help you with low energy levels… I’m too addicted to cheese to try it but was really tempted once. Anyhow – that skirt will be even looser if you’ll stick to your fruit-plan!!:)

  12. I became a vegetarian 8 yrs ago and eat lots of fruits and I find it does keep my energy level high. Like Peet said, I’m too addicted to cheese to go vegan 😀 Your cart looks a lot like mine when I grocery shop… fruits/veggies/liquor. Though I usually have some chocolate too 😉
