Oh dear, what a night. Yesterday I was working until 10pm, at around 8:30pm it started to snow. Like, a lot of snow. Within an hour the whole car park was just blanketed in snow, cars were getting stuck and the main roads were all gridlocked. SAD.
|Car Park oh no|
I live in a different city to the one I work with. I attempted to drive home in this madness, about 6inches of the madnesnesfgnosrhfos and after being stuck in traffic on the main road for about 20 mins, discovered that the main road was blocked due to two mother truckers which had got stuck. I had to make some funky illegal turn like everyone else and go back to work. It was now around 10:40pm. Great woe was upon me. Luckily, one of my friends who was also working until 10 left her car and walked to her Mums, so I texted her, bought some Pyjamas toothbrush, jeans, jumper and wellies and met her half way.
Look how deep it was for my little feets!
After a 20 minute walk in the snow. We arrived. I was soaking wet, just kind of melting on the kitchen floor. The cup of tea was very much welcome. Thanks, pal!
Heee, my friend has a little girl, almost two and she has this little car thing. I saw it and was like I WANT TO GET ON IT. So that is what I did.
I really do apologise for the mess I am in, my makeup had all come off and I am generally a drowned rat. I am also in my work uniform, boo!
I tried to get up and it kind of came with me!
This is the view outside the window when I woke up this morning.
I finally got home around 1:30pm. The roads were okay by then, thankfully!
Therefore I will show you what I got from Tesco. The wellies, jeans and jumper are all from there! I am glad I work in the biggest supermarket in the world. It literally sells everything. 80, 000 sq foot.
I have no idea where the hat is from. My mother got it for me last Christmas.
Lilly is now playing with my hair and we are going to drink the wine. YES.
How are you spending your Saturday night?
