My Christmas 2017

My Christmas 2017

I usually post about Christmas a bit sooner, but I’ve not had time this year. Well, I have had time, but I’ve spent it a little differently.

I usually go down to my parents on Christmas Eve and come back the day after boxing day. This year I stayed in York with my boyfriend and we went to see my parents on boxing day.

Because Christmas Eve was a Sunday, it was an optional working day. I decided to take it off as it’s probably the last time I’ll be able to do that for another 7 years.

Christmas Eve was really nice, I went to the gym in the morning and then we walked into York in the afternoon, had a meal and a few drinks. Then we walked back home and watched Harry Potter.

Christmas day we woke up around 8 or 9, then opened presents. I got the Mini Super Nintendo which I was dying for but worried they had all sold out. My boyfriend also bought me the Jamie Oliver 5 ingredients cookbook. I got it for him, too. So we had two. We sold one to some friends who wanted to go and get it anyway. Phew.

We had lamb for Christmas dinner, played Nintendo, had a nap and watched more Harry Potter.

On boxing day I went to the gym in the morning and then we went to visit my parents in Doncaster. Some of my family came over and we had a buffet and drinks.

Then the next day it was all over. Now the countdown starts to Valentine’s day, ha.

How was your Christmas?
