Thomas Elena Beach Bar, Argassi

lifestyle

We stumbled across Thomas Elena Beach Bar as it was very close to our hotel. We found it trying to find the beach.

It’s a little secret garden tucked away, a beach bar with decking, tables and lounges. There’s steps down with a further 12 sun lounges on that you can hire for 2 chairs for 5 euros. They even reserve them for you the night before so you won’t miss out.

Then there’s further steps right onto the beach. It’s stunning location with a beautiful abondonned hotel next door, which has just been bought and hopefully wil be done up next season.

Thomas and Elanor used to work at Mimoza Beach Hotel. After a change in management, they decided to open their own bar and what a fantastic job they have done.

It only opened at the start of the season, it’s open from 10am – midnight and both Thomas and Elanor are there the whole time to greet you. We’ve had many great conversations with them and they are a lovely couple. They say hello and ask how you are as soon as you walk in. We preferred going here than staying at our hotel during the day and it was a lovely place to have a drink on the evening by the sea.

They have a lovely cocktail selection and a small food menu which they hope to extend in the future.

I’d recommend anyone staying the Argassi area to visit here. It’s a stunning location, the service is brilliant and I really do wish Thomas and Elanor great success in their bussiness. They deserve it.

Oh the views of the beach look lovely! It sounds like such a ncie bar too, always good when you get chatting to the staff and find out how friendly they are – even better when they are the owners like you found here!

This looks so lovely! It’s so nice to support small, local businesses both at home and abroad and help support someone’s dream. I like the sound of an Irish Fizz! x
