Urban Decay Shadow Box

Shimmery eyeshadows are always the first to hit pan in my makeup palettes. Take the Naked 2 and 3. I’ve hit pan on all of my favourite shades, leaving the awful mattes barely touched. I just don’t care about them that much.

When looking for Christmas presents last month, I came across this Urban Decay shadow box for only £25 and couldn’t resist buying it. It’s got a mixture of more neutral colours like brown and nudes with a good amount of colourful ones. I fell in love with the purple instantly.

All Urban Decay products are cruelty-free and vegan, which is an extra tick in the box for me.

I can’t wait to have a play with these properly and do some makeup of the day looks! Watch this space.

The shadows look great, the blues are really cute. And the price is great too.

Oooh those are really lovely shades, I love the look of Smog! I’m usually the opposite and hit pan on nude mattes first just because that’s what I tend to wear everyday although at the moment because I’m not 0ver my christmas shimmery phase yet haha I’ve been wearing shimmery shades every day

Hope to see some looks from you with this palette, Corinne! I stayed away from this as I’m not the biggest fan of shimmery eyeshadows and coloured ones scare me. LOL!

this is one UD palette I don’t have, and now I am wishing I did – I am like you – a shimmer lover. I love all the shimmer. Half Baked is my absolute from UD though!

I am a creature of habit and not that great at stepping out of my comfort zone. I use the same shades constantly on my eyes but there is something tempting about this urban decay shadow box I like that it offers different colours to the normal boring shades Lucy x
