FINALLY got my hands on a Sephora Mascara! // Lash Plumper

Sephora Last Plumper in Ultra Black

When I went to Paris in June, you may remember that I came back with half my suitcase full of make-up.

During the last few months I’ve been working my way though it. It was time to bin my last mascara and give a new one a go!

This leads us to day. Hi.

Ive the last few months I’ve been wearing the Sephora Last Plumper in Ultra Black almost daily.

The packaging is simple – I’m indifferent to it, if I’m honest. I’m a sucker for fun packaging and this didn’t inspire me to buy it. It’s just okay. Which is fine, I guess. What matters is whats on the inside. Remember that, kids.

So, on the inside is a brush which is quite large and has long bristles. That’s what she said! Wait.. what?

I have to say that my favourite thing about this mascara is how it separates my lashes. There’s nothing worse than lashes that clump, and I have long lashes which often clump together. Wankers.

If I’m totally honest, though, this didn’t live up to it’s name as I didn’t feel as though it plumped my lashes.

I find this a lot with mascaras – I’ll read reviews and everyone raves about how wonderful a mascara is, oh, how it plumps, how it adds volume.. then I try a mascara and my lashes seem to look the same mostly. But darker.

Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone else have a suggestion of a mascara that might help plump?

Please don’t say Benefit They’re Real because I paid full price for that. And it was utter wank.

There’s photos and stuff below. What do you think of this mascara?

I’ve not tried many Sephora brand products, I do like the lip creams and the single eyeshadows but that’s about it. As for mascara, I hear ya but at least yours are freaking long, mine are stick straight, sparse, short and shit. LOL! Have you tried Urban Decay Perversion? I love that, it’s one of my top 3 best high end mascaras and the one I like the most is Givenchy Phenomenon’Eyes, pricey and the wand is a spiky ball. It takes time to use it but dang, the end result is so good.

Thank you for the honest review, your lashes look so long! I’ve not tried any Sephora own brand products as when I visited I just headed straight for all the other brands they held!

I saw this when I was in Sephora however I didn’t like the look of it so I didn’t check it(packaging seems to be important fact for picking a product). This one seems to make a good job on separating the lashes but plumping, I can’t really say that. It is hard to find a product that does what it promises on the adverts! x

You lashes look really long! Mascaras that deliver on both length and volume.are hard to find. The only one that’s come close for me is CoverGirl Lashblast.

I actually never tried sephora mascara before, your lashes do look long but I see what you mean by not having plumpness. I actually layer three different mascaras on and it’s working pretty well!

Ooh I have wanted to get my hands on this too. What a shame that it didn’t live up to the hype. It is so often the case now that people over hype products and when you buy they just don’t match up Lucy x
