Corinstagram December


It’s been another pretty decent month has December! I’ll be sad to say goodbye to 2014. The years pass so quickly now and it’s terrifying. You know how I’m terrified of dying and all. Oh, let’s not get into that, you knob. New years are supposed to be a time of celebration and happiness.

I stuck to my exercise plan this month. There were only 3 days I didn’t exercise, which was over Christmas. The rest was ay-okay. I’m starting to get stronger and more flexible, which is what I want. Woo splits here I come! Not quite, but I can now touch my toes. Sometimes.

Christine bought me a pull up bar for Christmas, it’s up and ready to go. I’d love to be able to do a pull up on my own. For now, I’m having to have one foot on a chair to help pull me up until I’m strong enough. Yay.

I’ve mentioned before how year 2014 was very much the year of blogging for me. I really knuckled down and I can honestly say I don’t think I could have worked any harder on my blog if I had tried. I can’t believe I’m into my 3rd year of blogging and still going! I spoke about my blog goals for 2015 in this post: Resolutions for bloggers.

Year 2015 is going to be the year of fitness. I swear. More 10k races, a half-marathon, strength training. I want my arms to be toned and have definition. When I go on holiday in September, I want to wear a bikini. I’ve not worn a bikini since I was 18. I don’t even own one!

I started my new years resolutions at the end of October. That way, by January, I’d be two weeks ahead. That’s a great plan. Best idea I ever had. It’s so much easier to keep going when you’re two months in. It’s the getting started that is difficult, I find. I’m doing Janathon this year, which is exercising every day in January. I will do it, even if it’s just a 15 minute yoga session if I’m busy. You can keep an eye on my fitness blog for more about that!

New Years Eve will be spent at home, we’re having a couple of fiends over for games, cheese, booze and fun. If I get enough photos, I may do a post about it and do the old outfit of the day and that.

    I love how determined you are Corinne. There doesn’t seem to be one pro-procrastination bone in your body.
    I’ve done a very mini resolution and happy new year post on my blog too. It’s really nice to list out in front of everyone what you want to do this year; hopefully we can both stick to them!
